"Done as expected"

"I initially hired Mr.Handyman to investigate and fix a leak around my window. They told me on the phone based on the photos I provided that the estimate for the job will be about $775 to find and fix the source of the leak and replace the drywall. I believe they use predatory and deceitful practices to inflate the final pricing, as it ended up being far higher than original estimates. When their handyman showed up, the estimate changed to $1010. I was never verbally informed that any of these estimates did not include materials. After removing the drywall, the handyman never found the source of the leak. I had to drive out to the property to find and fix it myself. I then called the handyman to re-install the drywall after the issue was fixed. I was then given another invoice for $977, so now we are at a total $1433, of which they claim $371 is materials. They never found or fixed the actual issue as promised but still charged for the full job. I thought we were being overcharged, since the original estimate was for finding and fixing the actual source of the leak, which they never did. When I questioned the materials charge and asked for receipts, their manager told me he would not send me any receipts even though they have them in the system because "its not their protocol" and that they put an upcharge on materials. When I questioned how much % the upcharge is, or if they can provide actual pricing of the materials, he said “when you buy at Publix, you don't ask them how much they upcharge for your food". This makes no sense, as at the store I see the price before I buy something, so I can decide if I want to buy it. Mr.Handyman never provided me with pricing of materials upfront, they just sent me one final price at the end without a breakdown of materials purchased, which they can make up to be anything. This is highly unethical. If this is a cost-plus contract, they should be providing receipts."

"They replaced the siding on my house after last years hurricane damage. Taylor tried to help me find the trim color i wanted but it was not available. His workers seemed competent and went over the final product for any areas to fix. My issue with them as i said in my first review was that 7 weeks later, after 2 phone calls leaving messages or text messages every week, i heard not a word back from him or his partner Ryan about picking up 2 piles of old siding left in the yard. After that long it seemed apparent it was intentional. It seemed like they had my last check and they weren’t going to return for clean up. I defended them to my husband that they didn’t do clean up but now it looked like he was right. The day after my last review came out I heard from Ryan. Taylors wife was very ill and that’s why these 7 weeks I didn’t hear from him. I’m sorry to hear his wife was so sick, but i still feel like sometime during those 7 weeks he could have passed my number to his partner for a call back. Team mates cover each other, we all have ups and downs in life. Of course i understand and overlook it, but an apology would be appreciated. Anyone would have been upset if they were in my shoes. I had no idea his wife was seriously ill. Taylor and Ryan are doing well with the construction skills, they need to maybe hire someone for callbacks,"

"Outstanding! Travis cleaned all the tile and grout in my home and it looks fabulous, like the day I moved in. Pricing was fair. Travis was professional, courteous, helpful, pleasant, and very qualified. Excellent work I would recommend him to anyone. I have my floors cleaned regularly and still the dirt that he removed was unbelievable."

"Jesse and his crew were amazing! I was nervous because I wasn't there. Bur he was so responsive to my concerns, sent me pictures daily so I could actually see the progress! I would totally use him again and recommend him and his company for any project!"

"Gerael and team were amazing. I found him on Angi and they completely demoed and retiled our entire 2,500 SF home in Tierra Verde. From there they completely remade our master bathroom shower and tub area with marble tile. In addition to great workmanship Gerael, never missed a start date and once they started, they did not stop until the job was completed unlike so many other contractors that i have dealt with that over promise and under deliver. I highly recommend Batz Tile!!!"

"Olaf installed our 36 inch ceramic tile. He gave us an outstanding the fair quote for the work. He picked up the tile from Floor And Decor for us saving us $250. He moved all the furniture from the room to be tiled and reinstall all the furniture after the tiling was completed. He was always on time and worked late on certain days to complete the job as promised . Olaf’s assistant was extremely competent and helpful. They worked as a wonderful team sharing all the work. They removed all the old carpeting from the room to be tiled, including the padding. They carried all the used carpeting and padding away and cleaning up every night after they had completed their work. The job was completed on schedule and the finishing around the edges of the tile was immaculate. All the nail heads were spackled. Any gaps were filled the final job look incredible! I can’t recommend Olaf and his service highly enough! We have three other rooms to be tiled and looking forward to having him do each one of them."

"1, the manager Lais Voltolini was late for the interview to get the job at list 1 1/2 hours, her and crew always late for every job. My husband & I always need it to talk to them about been messy and not been on time. overall, the job was not good. The kitchen cabinet was painted and now is chipping, the shower glass door is a big gap, now we can not take a shower."
