"JD Construction and Remodeling was wonderful to work with throughout the entire project. Joe and his crew were professional and really cared about the quality of work they were doing on the job. Joe would even give you suggestions on how to keep the budget at a reasonable cost, instead of trying to increase the cost. I finally met a professional who actually worked with the customer and had the customer as his first priority. i loved his quality of work so much that I hired him to remodel my bathroom as our next project. i would highly recommend J D Construction and Remodeling for your next house project! Absolutely LOVED this COMPANY!!!"

"We considered 5 different contractors for an extensive project finishing our basement.  Wantz was one of the top two contractors we considered.  Pricing was fair and his vision matched our vision.  The biggest decision point for us was that we would have to wait 45-60 days to start and that would have impacted our plans to be finished by the 2013 Holiday season.  Otherwise, there was a good chance that we would have chosen Wantz.  Instead, we went with Brothers Services and have been very happy with the results. <br />"

"We had been looking for a contractor to renovate our aging playroom and half bath for quite some time. Of the companies we contacted - several never got back to us and others just did not come through with plans, estimates, etc.  Thankfully, Windsor changed all this. From customer service to the service provided we had an excellent experience working with Windsor. Excellent enough that we have asked them to come back and renovate our aging kitchen.   <br /> <br /> Jim (company owner) arrived at the same time each morning and worked quietly around our family while always leaving the worksite organized, dust free and no mess. At no point did we ever see tools lying around or materials left on the floor and I consider that fairly important when you have two young children. When Jim arrived, he was more than happy to discuss any issues or concerns we had and while at work he relayed updates to us on a timely basis.  <br /> <br /> The project was completed approximately 2 weeks ago and we still find the work performed as top notch. There have been no issues. <br /> <br /> We recommend Windsor Construction and look forward to them remodeling our kitchen. "

FAQs for handyman service projects in Ellerslie, MD

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
