Get matched with top natural slate roofing installers and replacers in Elyria, OH

"Home Exteriors (HE) replaced the roof more than 10 years ago. I hired them to replace 6 of total 11 windows that were over 25 years old. It took from May to December 2023 to get windows manufactured by Andersen, which is a long wait time but obviously not a fault of HE. Once they arrived, HE has installed them promptly. Ronny and Gary did an excellent job in just 2 days despite a cold and wet weather. Ronny discovered that the delivered moulding was too narrow for my windows and quickly brought the right one next day without losing any time. After the installation was complete, HE sent a painter Bernie to paint the internal windows surfaces to match other trim in the house. It took him long time to complete due to his health condition but he did a great job. I just hope Bernie recovers from his illness quickly. The cost of replacement has been quite high but slightly lower than estimates from two other companies. Thanks Home Exteriors for your great job!"

"I would highly recommend MAP Construction to anyone that asked. I had them do a full roof replacement for me. They were very affordable, extremely responsive and fit me in to their schedule sooner than any other contractor. Matt was very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. He made sure I was informed and happy before, during and after the work. I've had other roofs replaced and this contractor exceeded my expectations."

"Buckeye State Roofing is a business I would highly recommend. The owner, Brent, was involved in the oversight of the installation. What a personable and conscientious person to work with! His crew were prompt, worked efficiently and quickly, and cleaned up as promised. They even took care not to trample my flowers that were already poking up! My new roof is beautiful! Thanks so much, guys, for your hard work!"

"Very dedicated and meticulous work. I was messaged when they started work, and given an update pictures as they went along their progress. Including when they had to replace boards. This crew uses 2 x 12 x 8 boards, or plywood, depending on what you have. And at a reasonable rate. I have seen other roofing companies charge three times as much for OSB, so it is encouraging that they use lumber or plywood. After they were done, they went around the property with a fine tooth comb to pick up any nails from the roofing. First with a magnet, then by hand for anything the magnet missed. Our roof was done in May. Since that time, we have had several rain storms and tumultuous weather. We have had no leaks at all, and the roof still looks as good as the day it was installed."

"Very well. Travis and his crew were very friendly and paid attention to detail. When issued did arise, they were quick to address them. The job had a mid-course adjustment and A-1 was deft in their ability to handle the adversity. Extra demands were placed on them by the building inspector and Travis complied without additional time or cost. I am currently soliciting a bid from Travis for another project and might very likely hire him, even if he is not the lowest bid."

"I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process from the sales to the install of my roof. The project managers, Walter and devan, were very knowledgeable during the install and made sure we didn’t have any questions. Overall very pleased with everything"

"Rustic did a nice job, removing the slate roofing, installing the new flashing and seal and reinstalling the slates.  Rustic is definitely a quality company to call for roof repairs.

"Pioneer Roofing tore off two layers of old roofing and installed my beautiful new roof today. They were professional, on time and clean. Marty and his crew answered any questions I had. They were very careful around all of my landscaping which I appreciated very much. They did an exceptional job of cleaning up afterwards and did the entire job in one day! The price I was quoted- which I thought was great price (much cheaper than other quotes) is the price I paid. I would highly recommend this company! Thanks so much Marty and your crew!"

"I have continued to use S. Bradley roofing over the years for my rental properties because of the outstanding quality of work they have always done. The crew is always polite, respectful, and always do an outstanding job at cleaning up. I would highly recommend S.Bradley Company."
