"Mr. Sofio Bautista was contracted to work on the entire exterior of our home, including siding replacement for rotted siding, wood replacement for exterior door trim and window frames, pressure wash the house and paint the entire home including base, shutters, front door and gutters. We discussed the work needed upfront with Mr. Sofio including his recommendations. Upon the agreed price and work, Mr. Sofio started the project on the agreed time and made sure every detail of the project was completed to the highest standards. There were delays in securing materials due to the ongoing industry and its supply chain, and Mr. Sofio kept us informed and updated on the entire process and progress. Mr. Sofio and his team made sure to complete everything, according to his and our expectations, in our home exterior that we agreed upon. The attention to detail that Mr. Sofio and his team had with our house was superb. We will be working with Mr. Sofio for ongoing interior projects in our home as well as refer him to our friends and families as projects come along."

"So I used Angie's List to narrow down my 3 main choices for a major exterior home improvement project. I got quotes from the 3, and decided on Make A Choice. It was definitely the 'right' choice. The work was done quickly and professionally. Great care was taken to cause little disturbance to neighbors who are VERY close in proximity to my house. Step 1: Siding: These guys were fast, and I mean fast. They blazed through the demolition of the old siding, vacuum sealed the sides, and put up my new hardy board. Just like that it was done and done right. Then it was painted (well) and the house began to look brand new. Step 2: Soffit: I almost didn't spring for soffit, and that would have been a big mistake. These guys did an amazing job on the soffit which now has the under siding looking amazing!! Most impactful thing I had done. All the neighbors are jealous! Step 3: Porch: I asked for a 'beefier' porch, and that is what I got. Amazing railings and new columns. I had them put a band about a foot down from the top of the columns and they really stand out now. The railing is double thick on the top and they are taller now, and the whole thing is the envy of the neighborhood. I also asked for a 'dental trim' and expected a strip from Home Depot or something. Nope. They custom made it, curved and impactful. Above and beyond. Step 4: Gutters: The gutters they installed go so seamlessly with the soffit that you can barely tell they are there! Beautiful and they put in a complete system where some needed gutters had been left out from the initial house build. The match to the rest of the house is uncanny. Step 5: Door: This they outsourced to a guy who also blew me away with a professional install and removal of my old door. Cleanup was done after each major renovation and at finish and everything was pretty close to "move in" ready. They did destroy a cement fountain, but patched it up so you could hardly tell. (I knew I should have moved that thing out of the way!) The only non-10 out of 10 would be the trim painting on the porch and windows, which got a bit rushed with bad weather, and even that gets a 9-10, with the only little things I could catch being quite 'nit-picky'. Overall, this company delivered in spades on the goods it promised and they were very responsive throughout the whole process. I would 100% use them again without hesitation for any other external house projects!! Priced competitively and delivering results that exceeded my expectations."

Disappointed. We have used DIxon previously and have recommended them to other family members to use.  This was our last time using Dixon.  Too much hassle and aggravation didn't make it worth the price difference.

There is no quality control or walk through of any supervisor prior to them showing up to collect a check.  A crew (non English speaking) shows up, can't communicate, rework is necessary because wrong deck color was purchased, walls were not painted correct color, areas in closet and bathroom were not painted at all and ALOT of oversplash of white paint on the red brick exterior, driveway, etc.  Crew initially was not respectful of the house (trash, drink containers, bathroom usage) or other workers in the house.

I feel they only corrected items at my fathers house because we had also contracted with them to do our exterior paint refresh as well.  Same issues and this time an argument from the Quality Manager about all the white paint on our red brick exterior.  He stated that it was the previous painters and essentially called me a liar.  Only the trim, eves, doors, window surrounds, etc. were to be painted.  Repairs were done shoddy and we requested they redo with the materials that were quoted, screens were not put back on the correct windows, windows are painted shut, shrubs were broken and damaged, etc.

This used to be a great company and service provider.  They've painted two other houses and a barn of ours over the last 15 years all were great, but something is really lacking in their service approach at this point.  Again, disappointing.

"Jose Orozco and his painters were FABULOUS! Our home is 54 years old with many wooden windows and a very high roof with wooden areas that needed repair. They scraped and reglazed all the windows that needed glazing (essentially every one). They scraped and primed and replaced rotting wood. They pressure washed everything before scraping and painting. They came on time (even early) and worked HARD until time to leave right before dark. Each day the left everything neat and orderly. His quote was very reasonable—he and his workers were worth even more. Do not look any further. Your painter is Jose Orozco and his crew!"
