Owner Bernard (Ben) Heisterkamp emigrated from the Netherlands in 1980, has lived in Pierce County since 1982 and has been a licensed contractor since 1984 (license number: RAINBHI168ME) He specializes in kitchen and bath remodeling, interior finish carpentry, ceramic tile and laminate work, but is experienced in most phases of construction. He is a hands-on contractor, an old school craftsman with over 25 years of experience in residential remodeling, who prefers to do most of the work himself and takes great pride in his work. When necessary he will subcontract plumbing, electrical or drywall work, but all work will be carefully supervised. Quality control is his utmost priority. Remodeling is stressful for homeowners. There is dust, noise, change in daily routines and invasion of privacy. Ben will make all efforts to keep disruptions to a minimum. He will also consult with you throughout the project, explain choices and offer suggestions to make sure that the end result will meet your expectations and that he can add you to his list of happy customers. If your home is built before 1979, it might possibly contain lead paint. We are prepared to deal with the lead dust that can be generated by remodeling activities. We offer a free consultation and estimate. When you are satisfied and ready to contract with Rainier Fencing & Decking we require a signed copy of the estimate and a half down payment. This secures your spot on our schedule and allows us to procure your material. Upon completion of the job we require the final payment. If you mention to us at time of bid we do offer a free wood gate on any purchase more than 150lf of estate style wood fence or better. We do offer financing on any fence or deck.
"They did a great job. We shared the fence cost with a neighbor so they chose Rainier from several fencing estimates. The neighbor had his whole yard done, because he had several points of damage on a very old fence. Rainier gave us a break on our small part because of the bigger job for the neighbor. They were efficient, professional and the new fence looks great. I'm not putting the amount charged because it really is different for each fence design, footage and height."
