However, I hired him to replace my stairway railing because his reviews were so good. I'm very glad I did. This guy is a real pro. It is fascinating to watch him work. He is very quick but also very precise. Obviously knows what he is doing. His work was excellent. The price was certainly fair. I also added on for or five small jobs inside the house such as repairing doors, etc., and he added these onto the job without any hassle. It was a pleasure working with him. I certainly would hire him again and consider him a great resource for my future carpentry needs."

"We have used P Jordan for MANY projects but recently for a closet remodel. We had to replace a water-heater and the plumbers had to tear apart the closet in the meantime so we needed a thorough but quality job done last minute and quickly to restore the closet! PJC was there within days, and after work hours finishing the pieces until the sun went down just so we could get our house put back together as soon as possible. The quality was amazing and exceeded my expectations and was done at a reasonable cost. I likely would have paid double and waited twice as long had I used another company, and not gotten the custom closet I needed."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"One of the garage doors was having significant "sticking" problems. I have been struggling with this issue for 7 months since moving into this house. George identified the problem quickly and resolved. After resolving this issue George adjusted my springs for more balanced tension, replaced the metal rollers with quieter nylon rollers, and lubricated both doors.

Everything was done properly and he spent time really instruction on using it and provided a checklist in case I forget the steps. He also made a couple of suggestions for future upgrades without being pushy. And he removed a REALLY heavy plasma. He’s very personable and professional"

"We could not be happier with Brandon's work, punctuality, cleanliness, personality, communication, honesty, pricing, and overall character. We actually had contracted to do some extra work for a few thousand. Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for. He really does great work, listens to the customer (we are guilty of making many changes and talking far too much), but Brandon is beyond patient and willing to work with you. If you are looking to remodel a kitchen, bath, or in general, look no further than Superior. You are hiring someone who truly cares about his work and the customer. Rare in any business these days.
