"We hired Ardian/Home Line Construction after meeting with 3 companies (we actually had a 4th estimate scheduled, but they never showed up for the appt.) to repair our front sidewalk. We ended up totally replacing it, as well as the walkway along the side of our house, where it meets the foundation. Once the front sidewalk was excavated, we realized that we needed to re-build the retaining wall for the front garden bed, because the wood wall was rotted at the bottom and the dirt was pushing it over. Ardian is a hard worker and has a lot of pride in his work. He also cares a lot about the customer being happy with the end-result! So, we added a new stone-faced retaining wall with a bluestone cap to our project, which led to us re-facing the front of our house with stucco and stone, as well as repairing/re-facing the front steps and the mailbox post, with matching stone and bluestone caps. It looks like a whole new house! My friends and family, as well as passing neighbors, are amazed by the transformation... talk about curb appeal! The attention to detail made such a big difference! "Carlos Chabla, the owner of Charles and Son is a real professional. He was always on time, responsive to phone calls and very knowledgeable. His crew are craftsmen. Our walkways were curved and the patio was a semi-circle. The bricks had to be cut just right and they were. The crew (4-10 men depending on what needed to be done) was thoughtful and considerate. The dust from cutting the brick pavers covered my neighbors cars and they hosed off the cars without being asked. Carlos was a great collaborator. He executed my design perfectly and made some very good suggestions to improve it. Once we got started, the project moved ahead very quickly. It was a lot of work and it was completed in about a week! Carlos had all the equipment needed to do the job right including 2 Bobcats. We have gotten so many complements from our neighbors. We couldn't be happier."
