I asked Don to change my quote 4-5 times as my ideas changed trying to imaging our deck. Don was very happy to update our estimate until we were happy with our design. "They were great. One of the posts wasn't quite right so I called them on Friday and they just came today to fix it, so that was fast. The young men that work for him were very good, Brian Wicket is the foreman and he stayed with them all the time. He even gave me his cell phone number because he said the office sometimes gets busy and he called back that evening when I called them for the rework. The young men that put it in were very nice and knew what they were doing. They called two days ago to apologize for not being able to get out here sooner. We were very happy with them. They cleaned up their mess, they brought all their stuff, and we didn't have to do anything really. It was pretty nice. When they first came out we didn't know much about what we wanted but I kind of knew I wanted vinyl and I knew I wanted black vinyl for the chain link fence so that it looked a little nicer and they brought everything. We got two quotes, they were cheaper but not that much, maybe about $400 cheaper, and I really liked what they had to offer compared to the others. The other companies were more reputable but I liked the personal part of my interaction with the people of Michiana Fence. They called, they told me when they would do it, they called a week ahead of time to say they would be over that following week if it didn't rain and they kept following up with phone calls, so the communication was excellent and I was pleased with that. They took their time with us, they had brochures and they told us where they bought the fence. Everything was written down on the contract, the installation, what they were going to do, how many and what that cost was going to be, the tax and everything. I wanted some steel supports under one fence and he added that on. We paid them half and then they did not take any more money until they were all done. They just worked with us. They did it one day and it was a small job too but they treated it as if it were a big job. I would refer them to my best friend but they are not in our town, they are about twenty miles away but they service our area. They can do right with the big boys."

"I called a few places for quotes. The first person to get back to me was Eric from Vangoye Home Improvement. It turned out that I was outside of their service area, but Eric took the time to listen to what my problem was. He then gave me the names of the products I needed and the steps I could take to fix it myself, as the problem wasn't as big or difficult as I originally thought. Not only will I be able to knock out this project in a weekend, it ended up saving me close to $300."

"New fence and gates look good. Cal-Pro builds the fence on-site, rather than installing pre-built panels. Not sure if that is better, but it's different. (Gates are pre-built in their shop.) Estimator/salesman was excellent. Installing crew was good, but we had to call them back to fix a couple of things. And we never did get the gate handle for the inside of the back gate. Black latch hardware was just painted, and so the paint chipped everywhere the two sections of the latch came into contact. <br /> I have tried to reach the company recently, to get a quote on doing another section of fence. But my emails have not been answered, and I just get a phone company recording when I try their phone numbers. When I click a link to their website, it takes me to a different fence company in Mishawaka. So maybe they have moved and changed their name, or merged with another company. <br />"

From the early morning phone call, I enjoyed prompt and courteous service. The receptionist was kind and attentive. They were able to work me in in the early afternoon -- and were so considerate as to call ahead! <br /> They arrived promptly at hour we'd agreed upon earlier in the morning. The technician assessed the situation and in approximately five minutes had begun working to remedy the problems. Not more than forty-five minutes later, the garage door was in perfect working order. <br /> The price was very reasonable for the work done.
