"Pinnacle installed my roof a year ago and a few days ago in a severe windstorm, the roof began peeling away from my home. I contacted Ty Robertson at Pinnacle and he immediately dispatched two men who despite the high winds secured the roof back on my home and will return again today to make further repairs. I really am impressed with the service and the professionalism of this company. I would definitely recommend their services."

"New company in town so they may have been trying to impress but, I found them very easy to work with. Always returned my calls within 24hrs and worked with my insurance company on estimate/cost. Original estimate was a little higher than established local roofers but they adjusted when the insurance company claim came in. It was only a small roof but the were done in one day, no wandering off to another job and then back for a day as some will do. Crew was friendly and answered all my questions about what was going on and why. Cleaned up after themselves very well. All in all a pleasant experience and the roof looks great! <br /> The main thing about the whole experience was that they were professional, fast and they <strong>called me back</strong>! I had to hound the locals for even an estimate (one just blew me off even with repeated requests) and then they could only schedule me for next spring. Really? That's not good service. <br />"

"Excellent !!! All workers are very skilled carpenters in their right. Marvin Windows installed perfectly in my 35 year old house. Project Managers Dominic Simon and Miguel Lara made sure we were in good hands with everything to include: color of siding, repair of old water damage, special siding selections of gables and shake installation. To produce beautiful Hardy Board Siding on good bones. They produce quality results and know exactly what is needed. Trust them. They will not steer you wrong. I had tears. I was so happy with the finished product. I wont worry about Siding or Windows ever again. They guarantee it. Any questions or concerns they address immediately. Talk to them. They will ease your worries on anything. Such a great team!!! I just have to say it was a pleasure to use Liftetime Windows and Siding. The finished product will amaze you. Timely!!!"

"I was extremely pleased with every interaction with Paramount Siding. Their website was very helpful. I visited their showroom many times to examine the different siding options. George L was so knowledgeable and explained all the options to me. He was straightforward and didn't pressure me to decide one way or the other. The installation crew was superb. They did a professional, high quality job of siding, window wrapping, and gutter installation. They were diligent every day in cleaning up my yard. Working with Paramount Siding was an excellent experience from initial contact through project completion. I highly recommend them."

"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"<p>Our point of contact was Gary Courtright who did an excellent job in communicating, estimating, and coordinating the repairs and roofing shingle replacement for our rather large and expansive home in Fruit Heights, Utah, where in some years, the canyon winds through our town can exceed 100 MPH.  After 25 satisfactory years on our old roof, we contracted Kimball to complete some extensive roofing plywood repairs, re-flashing, re-membraning, and re-edging of the entire 6,000 SF roof.  Per Gary's expert advice, plus Louie and Rohojolo outstanding installation, we ended up with a very attractive and fully sealed roof that will probably last twice as long as our previous roof.  We now have a Tamko 50 year architectural shingled and ridged roof that can now withstand winds up to 150 MPH.  SUPER. JOB WELL DONE !</p>"

", ,The contractor, Rand, and his workers completed the work on my garage and house in two and one-half days. When I contacted Rand for an initial bid for some wind damage on the roofs of my house and garage, he said he would contact my insurance company and take care of everything for me. Rand and his five workers worked very professionally and successfully! <br />"

"Mark and his crew were very friendly and professional.  Other general contractors in the area were subcontracting our roof work to him, so we knew he must be the best.  He made sure to let us know what was going on and what to expect.  His crew was always on time and kept the work area as clean as could be expected.  We felt his prices were very fair and will definitely continue to work with Mark in the future."

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Evanston, WY

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
