Next day received a very detailed bid describing work to be done, cost of concrete, how much concrete and even his travel cost. Next day after accepting his bid, he called to tell me the job could be done the next day. Very pleased with our new patio."

"Rich and his crew did excellent work which included creating a aged face to the concrete that allowed it to better match up to the existing 50 year old patio. Rich listened to what our needs by installing pipe under the border of the new patio so that we could continue to easily route water to our planting beds. As promised the crew came back out the day after the pour was completed to inspect their work and clean up around the perimeter of the pour. Nice job that we'll appreciate for decades to come:-)"

A couple small issues: communication was challenging at times because it was hard to know when the crew was going to actually arrive at our house to work, and they mistakenly dug up the wrong part of our lawn due to a miscommunication; quality-wise, a thin crack appeared on part of the concrete patio after a few months. "Believe me, this is your last stop for any masonry and concrete needs as these guys are absolutely the best! My initial quote and introduction to the company was provided by Joe Rothwell ( Owner ). Joe took the time to discuss the condition of my driveway, which believe me was in dire need of replacement, providing me with an estimate that I felt was extremely reasonable. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and options such as a sand finish and converting my existing 1ft x 1ft drain to a channel drain, running almost the length of my garage. On the day of installation, I was greeted by Joe and several members of his team. He anticipated only one day to demolish, however, based on the size of my driveway ( approx 2300 sq ft ) I thought that there was no way this was possible. Low and behold by 2:00 pm the entire drive was completely bare of old concrete! Day two went just as smooth, with grading, adding a gravel base, channel drain, and rebar. Because of a mini heat-wave, it was decided best to delay the concrete pour until the following week when the weather had cooled. Once again, they arrived right on time with the first pour. It was truly amazing to watch these guys focus their attention to detail. Finally, the last day was the wash and clean-up. Joe and his crew did a wonderful job and my driveway looks spectacular! "When we took out the old falling apart deck at our house, we decided a patio was a better replacement. Carillo's suggested a nice paver design that would keep long term maintenance costs down over our initial more expensive thoughts and it looks better as well. The patio was installed quickly with no fuss and Carillo's did a nice job putting in a cover for the open end of the concrete steps coming down to the patio. Get work all around. Patio still looks great a year later."

"They were very responsive up front and scheduled the work quickly. Arrived on the day and helped us complete some other work at no additional charge while waiting for cement to arrive. Unfortunatley one of the workers walked across the patio and left mud boot marks that will not come out. We attempted to contact Sam multiple times however, after the first time he answered via text he stoped responding and never came out to address the issue. We are now stuck with permanent boot marks in our patio. They also requested to be paid in full up front but backed off when we offered to put half down. Otherwise we were pretty happy with the work but very disappointed that they did not respond or even come by to see if there was anything they could do to help fix the issue."

"We hired Island Concrete to do the ground prep and pour of a 10'x20' concrete slab that we will be placing a shed on. The end result was nice enough to be a patio! (Too bad it's going to be completely covered by a shed.) It was a pleasure to work with Island Concrete and we do plan to hire them again in the future."
