"First of all, everything that turned out well is thanks to Gary who is marvel of roofing knowledge and straight talk. I talked with half a dozen roofers over the last year. Gary was the only one who had the expertise and the decency not to b.s. or overcharge us. An Honest Roofer! His company delivered the material and began work in less than two weeks from our initiating the project. The crew was efficient, completing the job on the first day. We required additional work to reinstall our gutter covers. Brian was sent over and he did a great job using some replacement covers and some original ones. Worked out great. I mention this because Gary said that any issues with the gutter covers would be theirs and that everything was covered. And it was! If you don't hire these guys, it will be your loss. By the way, the Class 4 Malarkey synthetic shingles are rated against damage with hail up to 4.5 inches. Nice product, great company!"

"We had damage from water leaking into our attic during this cold and snowy winter. Two other roofing companies could not figure out what was the problem with the roof. ISP quickly diagnosed the problem and knew that the ice dam on the roof had forced water from the melting snow to damage the shingles and leak into the house. They came out right away on an emergency basis before the next approaching storm and removed the ice dam and tarped the roof to prevent further water damage, until it was warm enough to repair the shingles. ISP is the best roofing and construction company I know. They are very knowledgeable and professional, with outstanding customer service. "Very responsive initially. Wrote up a detailed estimate and worked with insurance company to add a few things to their original settlement. Agreed after settlement finalized to cancel one window replacement and use the money on a few other fixes instead. Long story short- damage was in October 2014, and here in June 2016 they finally finished. <br>  <br>The long version is that the roof replacement was done fairly promptly, about 4 months after initial contact- although I was planning to install solar panels and tried to get them to work with the solar company to coordinate the work, so as to avoid the solar folks punching holes in my brand new roof. Unsuccessful. <br> <br>But getting them to finish the other work has been like pulling teeth. Unreturned calls and emails, and when the workers do show up, often they do the job poorly or incompletely. The painter came out and was supposed to sand and paint the deck railings, which had large gouges from the hail, and to paint the spindles. Instead he painted the railings without sanding- leaving the deep gouges- and didn't paint the spindles at all, which looked like they had been sandblasted from the hail. After literally a year of nagging, they finally sent a painter out to do the spindles, but refused to sand and repaint the railings. <br> <br>We had one broken window and another with damaged vinyl. We agreed to replace only one window, and repair the vinyl on the other, then use that money to replace some gutters. The gutters finally got done in Feb 2016 (16 months later) and the one window's vinyl was finally fixed this month- 20 months after the storm. <br> <br>I honestly can't believe that it took over 20 months and dozens of emails and calls to get the work finished.  <br>"
