We first hired him to repair and paint some drywall and fix some plumbing issues. Perfect. Then we hired him to install and configure a temperature-controlled fan to heat potentially freezing pipes in a corner of our house. Very clever. Then we hired him to create and laminate two custom built storage cabinets in our Airstream travel trailer. Here we really saw the craftmanship Chris was capable of. These required tight tolerances in a sloping curving workspace. His craftsmanship was meticulous. There are small cutouts, maybe only a 1/16 inch wide that he created to meet the exact form of the interior aluminum walls. He built these so they were secure when we travel, but could also be removed for servicing below the cabinets. He understood what we wanted, and came up with some very creative ways to meet our needs. The whole thing was a work of art."
