"I've been using Roof Corp for the past few years for minor repairs to my roof. A major storm with golf ball sized hail hit our house this past summer, requiring the roof to be replaced. "Very responsive initially. Wrote up a detailed estimate and worked with insurance company to add a few things to their original settlement. Agreed after settlement finalized to cancel one window replacement and use the money on a few other fixes instead. Long story short- damage was in October 2014, and here in June 2016 they finally finished.
 
The long version is that the roof replacement was done fairly promptly, about 4 months after initial contact- although I was planning to install solar panels and tried to get them to work with the solar company to coordinate the work, so as to avoid the solar folks punching holes in my brand new roof. Unsuccessful.

But getting them to finish the other work has been like pulling teeth. Unreturned calls and emails, and when the workers do show up, often they do the job poorly or incompletely. The painter came out and was supposed to sand and paint the deck railings, which had large gouges from the hail, and to paint the spindles. Instead he painted the railings without sanding- leaving the deep gouges- and didn't paint the spindles at all, which looked like they had been sandblasted from the hail. After literally a year of nagging, they finally sent a painter out to do the spindles, but refused to sand and repaint the railings.

We had one broken window and another with damaged vinyl. We agreed to replace only one window, and repair the vinyl on the other, then use that money to replace some gutters. The gutters finally got done in Feb 2016 (16 months later) and the one window's vinyl was finally fixed this month- 20 months after the storm.

I honestly can't believe that it took over 20 months and dozens of emails and calls to get the work finished.
