But most of all they were extremely clean and conscientious about tracking dirt onto our new flooring and carpets. They laid drop clothes in every room and took shoes off to do it. "I am very unsatisfied with my experience. I called the office to talk about my projects and get a quote on the jobs that I needed completed. We discussed all three jobs. The office said this would take a day and quoted me a price. They charged me money to hold my appointment date. A month went by, I had to call the office the day before the appointment to make sure that someone was still going to be arriving the next day. The appointment was scheduled to start at 8:00 am. The handyman came to my house at 12:45. He looked at the jobs that were to be completed and said that he could only finish one of them and asked which of the three I would like him to do. He went out to buy materials and returned back to my house sometime around 3:00. He never even fully finished one of the jobs. He left my house at 5:30 and I was charged over $1000. I was also charged for a gallon of paint that he never even used because the job was never completed. I asked if someone would be calling to schedule the work to be finished. He assured me that someone would be calling. No one ever called or returned."

"Darin from House & Home contracted with us for a project which was a fairly small job at the beginning. My dental office Signature Smile Designs in both Bradford and Smethport was sorely in need of repainting of ramps and strengthening of those ramps. Darin was respectful and worked ho*** ** that early project. The results were very good. Because of the result, I expanded the entire project especially in Bradford. He has maintained his respect and poise through this challenging renovation of a building built in the 1930’s. He has put in two new bathrooms, a new basement floor, new treatment rooms were updated and much more. He has performed at the highest level! Continuing, he has painted inside, put new cabinets in , and even leveled two very off level floors in two rooms. That project was done with attention to detail and was technically a very difficult task… He got them back to level and we will benefit from his hard work.. "They installed a new roof, gutters, and downspouts for my house in late summer 2024. The quality was poor -- they had to return to fix their gutters as they were leaking. Now, the flashing is coming off and they are refusing to repair their sloppy work. The work did not even last one year, which is unacceptable. I'm concerned that as time goes by it will get even worse. They do not respond and do not seem to care. I cannot recommend this company."
