"While I could nitpick a couple clean-up things that were missed and an area on front porch that wasn't as neat as I would have liked, it wouldn't be fair. Nothing is ever perfect. We are so pleased. These guys did a great job on all levels. They really know what they're doing. They even did better than expected on a couple untameable problems. Raffaelle is extremely professional. He gave a written quote and professional invoice for our records. They were higher than the other quote we got, but we felt better going with them because the professionalism was obvious from the very first phone call. They came when they said, they did what they said, they were courteous and hard working. As a mom at home with the kids, I felt safe and respected. I would certainly hire them again if needed, and definitely recommend."

"Joe was very professional.  It was a busy time of the year and rain delayed the project a bit, but he was willing to answer calls and discuss tentative dates.  The patio is beautiful and his crew cleaned up nicely.  I would highly recmommend him, as his price point was much better than competitors.

"They replaced the liner and stones in our large fountain in the driveway. They worked very hard all day and it looks beautiful! They also pruned all of the bushes around the fountain. They were all helpful and polite and just wonderful to work with. We will be using them again in the future for landscaping needs."

"I had multiple small things needed. Deck, repair and seal, yard regrade and grass seed, partial fence replace and new gate, rocks placed around garage. Jasen and his team did an excellent job. He was very helpful and made sure I was satisfied with each job as it was done. Very professional and timely. Left no mess. Reasonable price."

"The price was fair. When they originally came to do it, there was not enough road gravel down so we had to have the other guy come back and redo that. We kept getting a promise date and then they wouldn't show. It took a while to get them back so we were a little disappointed with them. We couldn't reach them. We would leave messages and they wouldn't call back. Since we missed our first opportunity, then we got pushed back and they took care of the other places. They should have responded and let us know. When they finally did come the crew was great and the finished product was good. The pricing was in the ballpark. This was set up through our contractor. They did finally come when they said but it took 3 times. We might look for somebody else in the future."

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Fair Haven, MI

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
