"We had an old paver patio whose wooden borders had decayed and the pavers had sunk around the edges. The cracks between pavers were full of weeds. Kelly put new borders around the patio, masonry blocks with decorative pavers on top. They removed the weeds, powerwashed the dirt from between the pavers, and added polysand to prevent further problems. It looks great and was a lot cheaper than the bids to replace the whole thing. Kelly worked with my wife to select the color for the border, which she greatly appreciated. His crew was conscientious, thorough, and friendly. Our dog really liked them!"

"Mottern did a fantastic job designing and installing a large flagstone-on-concrete patio for us. The work included excavating and leveling the site, pouring and re-enforcing the slab, and selecting and purchasing the stone, brick and other materials. In addition to the patio, Mottern also filled in an approx. 12 sq/ft section of brick wall where a door had been converted to a window. The filled-in brick and mortar matches the original 50-year old wall perfectly. Overall, the entire Mottern crew was prompt, responsive, professional, and very skillful. My only complaint is that the stone and mortar dust did bad things to the grass and plants adjacent to where they worked. I recommend placing a drop cloth to protect plants.

Mr. Sanchez and his crew did a great job of grinding out the old cement, stabilizing the stones where necessary and putting in new cement. The crew was efficient and polite. The job was finished on time and for a fair price, IMO. Before and after photos (of one small area) attached. [One note: The grinding out of the old cement created a signigicant amount of dust. much of which went into the adjacent garden. My wife was/is concerned this will affect the chemistry of the soil, thereby affecting the health of her plants. Just be aware.] Highly recommend."

They arrived when they said they would, and worked long hours to complete the job in less than three days.
