"Anton was a genuine pleasure to work with. He is a consummate professional and the work he did for me was excellent. My relief valve on my hot water heater blew on the weekend. I put a request for service out on Angie on a Sunday morning, he responded about 30 minutes later and came by about an hour later with NO request for a weekend emergency fee. He was the first plumber of the respondents that I dealt with, but after about 30 minutes, I was confident he was he was a solid choice for the job. I was not disappointed. He had my hot water heater back in service on the initial visit, and the hot water tank replaced and all work completed by the following Wednesday (tank was over 15 years old). His pricing was very reasonable and his work and professionalism was top-notch. If I have any further plumbing needs, this is the only guy I will call."

"I called Henco’s after I had another company come out and give me and estimate and to look at our water heater. The first company immediately gave me the doom and gloom “this water heater’s going to blow up at anytime, you need to replace it today”! (They just so happened to have a new one in their truck) I said I’d get back to them and then promptly called the second plumber on my list. The owner was very kind and gave me his opinion without trying to get business. I asked if he could come out and give an estimate on repair/replacement, he had someone here within a couple hours. Owen was very nice and honest, he said our water heater was NOT going to blow up, but it was leaking (we already knew, that’s why we called). He didn’t push any sales on us but we asked for a quote on replacement. His quote was MUCH less than the previous guy and Owen explained the differences in the water heaters available. We placed our order, a few days later they came and installed it. The two guys who came were very nice and professional, did an awesome job and answered all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this company."

"Midtown Plumbing did a very professional and thorough job of totally replumbing an unfinished basement bathroom. The crew were very friendly and made the effort to thoroughly answer all my questions to my satisfaction. They also added necessary items that I was not aware were required. Their drain line routings were a beauty to see. While backfilling and self compacting prior to the slab pour I was concerned about a soft, moist surface and partially reexcavated a portion of their work. Midtown returned and retested for leaks and verified that all plumbing was good, and at no extra cost. I was very impressed with their honesty, diligence and pride in their work."

"Nick was great! He responded right away to my inquiry. We needed a valve changed under the kitchen sink to allow for installation of a new dishwasher. Nick quickly made a new set of shut-off valves and fixed us up super quick. Beyond the great plumbing work he was so nice to my 6 year old son who was very excited to see the work being done and asked a million questions. This repair was actually in my in-laws house. They are not great with English and he took the time to explain the work to my father in law. Nick is very professional and patient. We are going to have Nick come back and fix some more things soon. "I bought a deal through Angies List to clear one gutter drainage pipe for $180 plus $30 for each additional drainage pipe.  The service contacted me within a day and had a crew out a couple of days after that.  The gentleman who cleared my drains was professional, efficient, thorough, and even gave me some ideas to consider.  My only complaint is that I asked for and was charged for the clearing of three pipes.  It turned out that one of the pipes wasn't clogged at all but i was still charged full price for that drain/

"Our CPVC house piping had a lot of water hammer. After turning on the washing machine, I walked out for a moment, and then when I came back in water was dripping from the ceiling exhaust fan onto the washing machine. We have a two story house and they ran the hot water plumbing from the water heater in the garage through the laundry room ceiling. I removed the exhaust fan and could see water dripping from a tee way back beyond reach. The water hammer from the washer likely caused the fitting to start leaking. I turned the house water supply off and sent a message to Simpson plumbing through Angie's list. A lady from Simpson plumbing contacted me right away the next morning. She was courteous, but was having a hard time understanding what the problem was. Maybe I was giving too much information or something, but when the plumbers arrived later that afternoon they didn't understand what was going on. I ran through what happened again and showed them the wet spot on the ceiling. They had to cut an opening in the ceiling and we turned the water on and confirmed the leak. We moved my washing machine out of their way and they cut out the CPVC tee and replaced it with PEX. The piping was brittle so it took him a couple of attempts to get a straight cut which is why I called them to mess with it. After installing the PEX tee, we were leak free and at my request they provided a reference for the drywall repair. He also advised getting some water hammer arrestors installed on the supply lines to the washing machine to stop the water hammer, which I have since done."
