"Install was on time and as described. '1st Response' did the job I expected for the water heater install. Good customer service for scheduling. Note that the Angie's list price of $799 only covers the installation of 50 gallon gas AO Smith hot water tank. Assuming you also do installation of new brass fittings, new flex lines and new expansion tank (which you should probably all do with the new water heater) it will cost an ADDITIONAL approx $500-600 (mostly labor costs). That's a competitive price but still, you should be aware that the original quote is just for the water tank install itself, nothing else. All-in-all they did a good job for a competitive price. A few months after the install, so far, I can say I would recommend them for this type of work."

"We requested a bid for installation of recessed kitchen lighting. What we got was an estimate for the cost of rewiring the knob-and-tube in our entire house, plus the cost of the fixtures. The rewiring alone was estimated over $18,000. Our home inspector informed us about knob-and-tube when we moved in, as well as the excellent condition of the wiring. Adding LED fixtures would have been a low draw on the system and we have since gotten a far better bid from another electrician. Our impression was that we were given a hard sell to spend almost $20,000 on a big project we did not ask for. There was no alternative solution offered. Additionally, the price quoted for the fixtures was very higher, higher than any I could find on a basic Internet search for the same fixtures, so big price gouging there on the materials. I am confident that these are skilled electricians, but as a homeowner and consumer, I felt that we were not heard and that the company, as represented by the initial contact with the lead electrician who seems to primarily be a salesman, is interested only in big-ticket jobs. If you need a big commercial project done, you may find Seatown to be your best choice. As a homeowner, I felt like the company's next prospective sale. We won't hire this company."

"Vlad was very prompt, respectful, yet personable and more than sincere in his motivation to assist with my plumbing problem. After replacing the pipes, the sink was still backing up, so he ran a snake through it a handful of times, but to no avail. He had come to the conclusion that it may be backed up much further down, and that was out of his scope of work, and with regret, he recommended other companies that would be able to assist. About 30 minutes after he left, he called me back and explained how awful he felt about not being able resolve my original issue. He informed me that he would like to make one more attempt (this was after I had already paid him the full amount), and that he was going to Home Depot to purchase a more effective tool, and said that he would be willing to go into the crawl space if it came to that. He arrived back at my house shortly after and went right back to trying to break up whatever was clogging the drains. After 4 attempts, it finally worked! The relief and the gratitude I felt was enormous! Vlad did not request any money after coming back the second time, and I think he was as happy as I was to have it working! I can't thank Vlad enough for going the extra mile, being so loyal to his work ethic, and putting his other priorities on hold to complete a job he could have easily walked away from after being paid. Once they contacted us, they were responsive and took care of all our problems. It was a little expensive, but we havenâ t used a plumbing service recently, itâ s all expensive now. Very nice and helpful when they were here. Got to us quickly and gave us money saving suggestions and did quality work. I would recommend them for any plumbing needs!"
