"We began the process with SunPower when a representative knocked on the door and asked if we were interested in exploring solar power. After this we were put in touch with Arvin, who guided us through the entire process and was thorough, transparent, helpful, and responsive. First, Arvin met with us in our home for over an hour exploring all the details of various options including PPA (power purchase agreements) and financing. After we expressed initial interest during this meeting, SunPower sent a site inspector to our home to analyze our readiness for a solar panel installation. After this, we stayed in touch with Arvin while exploring the details of our home’s solar power system. Initially, we were hesitant about the idea of a PPA since we wouldn’t own the panels that were on our roof. Once Arvin explained the details of how the PPA works, including provisions for if we do construction on our roof or move to a new home, we became much more comfortable. We ended up choosing to go with a PPA because we liked the idea of paying only for the power being produced, rather than for the equipment itself. The proposed system of solar panels was projected to cover 90% of our home’s monthly energy needs."

"I started solar company research 4 years ago. I quickly canceled my research because all the companies pissed me off. It seemed like a complete scam/hustle. Then this year I started my research again. Solar power is too important, so I got back into the ring to, this time, pull the trigger and get it done. I have issues with getting the best quality at the best price. I got three quotes and then went full on into third-party solar panel comparisons, all available for free online. I plugged in the exact panels each company was quoting me. SunPower was off ALL the charts in quality, production and warranty/lasting production. Absolutely, by far the best product. But that is not my only criteria, I expect very good customer care. My salesman Marc got me dialed in and permits acquired with very little effort on my part. I had an old roof and asked a roofing friend to quote me replacing prior to solar install. Except I prefer all warranty work under the same company, so I contacted Marc to see what Stellar could do. He matched the roofing cost AND upgraded the singles to *Cooling Series* for no additional cost. Sorry for such a long review, but the best is yet to come.The installation crew. Luis, Ken, Robert and Matt. So way above and beyond in every task. Painted all my vents to match the brand new metal trim they installed. Replaced dry rot wood panels, took care of my dog Bowser, cleaned up better than when they arrived, and were the most friendly, accommodating, efficient and fun crew I could ask for. Complete 24-panel system, with brand new roof, installed to perfection AND cleaned up in 5 days!! I have done your research for you. This company is your best option! "We chose NRG for our solar installation. Everyone we worked with (especially Gemma and Leila) was incredibly helpful and responsive along every step of the process. They responded to emails and texts within a day or two at the most, but usually within a couple of hours. They were patient and very helpful with all of the questions we had (and we had many!), and they were happy to coordinate with other contractors that were doing work on our house at the same time. We did a fairly detailed analysis of the quality, cost, efficiencies, and expected lifetime of the equipment that NRG proposed compared to other companies, and we are confident that they provided the best equipment at the best cost. The installers that came to our house were very professional, worked quickly, and the system was up and running within hours - very impressive. We passed our inspection with no issues and the whole process was completely painless! "i could not be happier with OC Solar, they deserve all of the hype! i have worked with vinnie and the oc solar team for over 5 years and done many projects with their team. they are always on time, priced well, easy to work with, and the communication is excellent. itâ s hard to find good contractors, so when you find one, you have to tell people, and OC Solar is worth putting my name on the line for. we have had them install Tesla power walls for us, specifically the tesla power wall 3. they have installed panasonic and q cell panels for us and the installation quality is top of the line. highly recommend, 10/10. choose ur installer wisely, los angeles is not easy to work with, so i recommend a proven company like OC Solar"
