"Daley's did a fantastic job on my driveway. The crew was professional, showed up on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. They were also really good about cleaning up afterward, which I appreciated. The asphalt looks great and feels super smooth to drive on. I got several quotes, and Daley's was definitely the most competitive. I highly recommend them for any asphalt work you need."

"Response time was immediate for a roof issue discovered by an inspector during a house sale. A section of roof was damaged with water leakage. Repair was immediate, cost very reasonable and handled professionally. While on site, another issue was discussed about truss/joist issues in the attic. Colin took a level and evaluated that finding with no extra charge and discussed/showed me the results and issues reported. There was no attempt to charge/fix/minimize the report. What a great experience. Call me if you need a reference for this business/contractor. <br />"

"definitely home's paneling was falling apart and wouldn't retain the heat in the winter or the cool in the summer. With the work Carlos and his crew did, it's been amazing and my bill has gone down considerably. I do admit, the new windows and doors help as well but they were in before the stucco was done and we could definitely tell the difference of not having the stucco. He had many colors to choose from. They didn't always show up on time due to the fact that they were pushed to get other jobs done they were doing and we understood that. But they worked late hours to make up for the time they didn't get there in the mornings they had planned on. It turned out beautifully and we couldn't be more pleased. If we ever have to any work done or chose another job where we need stucco, we'll be calling on him again. <br />"

",Very positive  fellow and anxious to be of help.  I would have liked for him to bring the sealant for the roof flashing and do the job on the spot but that might not have been possible. <br />"

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Farmington, NM

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
