"I hired Vanir landscapes to put a wall aesthetic type feel to my back stone patio. The process was extremely smooth and the team was extremely professional and educated. Once we picked everything out and he knew what I wanted. The team installed a beautiful retaining wall that not only looked exactly like what & was wanting, but started and constructed the wall in less than a day. They’re professional, easy to work with, their work ethic is top tier, and they do the job with critical precision. I’m very happy with there work and will be hiring them for more projects. I highly recommend Vanir landscapes "

"My property was listed for sale during the late fall/winter months.  Realtors needed access to the property for showings with very little notice.  Scott and his team kept the property in good condition through the winter months by plowing and sanding a steep drive and clearing snow and ice by the road, routinely checking mechanical systems in the house and performing light cleaning.  My house is sold now and I referred SFH to the new owners.  I wish Scott and SFH all the best!"

"Was on time for the appointment to take measurements and get information to give an estimate. He did tell me it would take some time to get an estimate to me as they had just changed providers of the stones I wanted them to use, but it took, I feel, too long to get me the estimate, almost 2 weeks. <br /> I live on water and consequently, my lot is on a rather steep slope. My parking area is just a pull-off the road, and is built up and held in place with a retaining wall so it is even with the road. The old wall had been made of logs, and was breaking down, so it needed to be completely removed. <br /> There were some problems getting started, between some problems on my end with my bank, and un-cooperative weather, but once started, the whole thing went quite well. Denny and his guys worked quickly, and cleanly. Denny was very responsive to me whenever I had questions. The end product is very nice, and looks to be very sturdy. Everything I asked for was done. I'm very pleased. Also, when the bill came it was under the estimate price, and by a fairly substantial amount!! That made it even better! <br />"

"<p>Evan came to give us an estimate and we asked for an item by item estimate in case we had to eliminate something due to budgetary concerns. His emailed estimate was detailed and very reasonable and we gave him the go-ahead.</p> <p>Evan and his assistant performed an excellent job. There were multiple trees and multiple bushes to remove and/or trim. Everything we had asked of him he performed in an efficient and organized manner.</p> <p>The wood we requested to be cut up was done so to our specifications and all extraneous debris was removed and cleaned up.</p> <p>We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone who needed a tree specialist.</p> <p><br /> </p>"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Fillmore, NY

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
