"Guy and Renato at G.O. Flooring are amazing! First of all extremely trustworthy. Secondly reasonable and determined to meet my expectations! They did a 4000 sq ft entire house floor install of high quality wood laminate . They moved all the furniture without using outdoor storage. They replaced existing molding. And they replaced stair steps with wood because they werenà ¢à  à  t available in laminate. They did the stairs twice because of my demands and they only charged materials. I would use them again, I am recommending them and Ià ¢à  à  m happy to answer questions."

"They were able to turnaround the work quickly from initial discussion, which took place on a Friday. Confirmation of work on Monday and actual project work on Tuesday. They fully completed repair and refinishing of 1 room in 1 day and the floor has never looked better. They replaced multiple broken boards, sanded the entire floor, restained the entire floor and cleaned up behind themselves. This was a great, quick, high quality project at a reasonable price."

"Ishmal was responsive, showed up when he said he was going to, and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend him and his team for your wood flooring needs."

"Defender floor did a fantastic job on our flooring. We had a very positive experience with Rey and his team. They moved all of our furnishings and replaced them - completed our flooring in just one day! That is was such a plus. Highly recommend them."

"Great work by Marcin; he gutted the old tile floors in the kitchen and replaced with new hardwood floors complete with leveling as well as updating our living room floor; meticulous and professional dude. He also gave us care instructions for our new wood floors. Overall would recommend him and his company"

"I recently hired Flooring Long Island to redo some tile work in my home and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. They provided me their honest expert advice, and executed the installation flawlessly. The attention to detail was impressive, and they ensured that every tile was perfectly aligned and to my liking and within my budget. Would definitely recommend them and use them again."

"They did a fantastic job on my parquet floors including patching and repairing. I can’t believe how good they look. They were very professional and good communicators. I would highly recommend them."

"Meza construction is the BEST! Olvin installed 2 large rooms and a hallway with laminate flooring. It’s an old house so I had 2 LUMPS in my floors that he corrected and made even. My floors came out beautiful and seamless. He cleans AS he works, which I loved. I then added other jobs like installing a door and removing borders in a back bedroom. He can do it ALL! EXCELLENT PRICE. Excellent job. I plan on hiring him again for my basement floors."

Overall, I'm happy with the finished job in the attic, but have a few issues with the stairs.  Also, it was a long process with many bumps in the road getting the project complete.  I likely wouldn't use them again and wouldn't recommend them to others.  I purchased my materials from Lumber Liquidators and was directed to Palermo for the install, otherwise I probably would have looked to someone else to install.  I listed my main issues below.

1) CONTRACTOR:  While the person we were dealing with was very nice and responsive in the beginning, he did forget to tell me to order transition pieces for the areas where the main room met 2 closets.  I was told later that it was his error and he would get the wood, come back and reinstall.  This actually was never completed.  After a lot of back and forth I set up additional time for him to come in and he was suppose to pick up the wood.  I guess he had actually quit and therefore I never heard from him, but no one from Palermo reached out to me in any case.  When I rescheduled to have the rest of the job complete and pick up the transition pieces myself, which I thought were already ordered and paid for by Palermo, I was told this wasn't the case.  At this point, I didn't want the process to drag on any longer so I threw in the towel on it.

2) STAIRS:  I choose a lighter stain for the stairs, but was told by the Palermo is was too light and wouldn't match the bamboo I already had installed.  Since they are the experts I looked to them for guidance and asked that they choose whichever stain matched.  In the end, the stain is completely off from what I wanted and didn't match the bamboo at all.  The stain is so dark is almost looks black in some places.  Additionally, it was very pricey to have done and I could have done it for half the price with a different company but needed to meet a minimum $ amount with Palermo or pay an additional $500 fee.

3) STAIRNOSE:  We had a minor issue with the stairnose install as the glue was showing...it looked like too much was used and it squirted out in 3 places.  It was very noticeable, but Palermo came back and fixed at no additional charge.  It only took an hour or so.
