And speaking of having saved this friend money, Joe's fees were always very fair in cost. More than fair. On this last point, beyond the type of savings he generated for one neighbor, several other neighbors to whom I have referred Joe have actually paid him more than his estimate because they felt he was charging them TOO LITTLE. "Two painters arrived and it was clear that one was inexperienced. The "Big Deal" called for a full day painter or two painters for four hours. The one painter with experience had to stop what he was doing on several occasions and help the other one out. Needless to say the job progressed slowly and I called RSU and told them about this. The experienced painter came back the next day and finished the job, but it cost me another 199.00.
