"Josh is personable and just starting his business. We engaged him to (1) do a second cleaning where some ivy was attached to the brick (2) tuckpoint a few spots (3) caulk the front windows and (4) apply a silane siloxane sealer to everything. Josh showed up when promised. He was not the lowest bid. His bid was in the middle. The main problems were that he really can't apply caulk and frankly made a big mess on several of our windows -- but the real problem is that he chose a different sealer product than we asked for-we were not informed until just before he started to apply it -- ultimately we approved it because we didn't want to delay the project. Then he didn't read the directions for the product. Our HVAC should have been off the entire time. It was not and the fumes were sucked up into our soffit and attic space and throughout the home. It was so bad in the house for several days it made our eyes water and a few weeks later is still very noticeable. In fact we had ServePro in to clean our ducts and they wanted to know what the smell was. He also did not respect our property laying his plastic on a large area of grass which killed it and killed several plants that were not covered even though I tried to wash them afterwards. He didn't have tape and had to use ours and didn't have gas for the power washer -- which was also ours. He is just starting out and will learn but overall we just were not impressed with the transaction. He is nice and polite and does show up when he promises through."

They took photos throughout the process and kept me informed about their progress. I had them strip the paint off the face of my 3 story brick home and reset several areas of the building. I could not be more thrilled with the results!"

They were able to work with us on the fee to make it affordable to us as we really wanted to use this company. Martinez did a beautiful job matching and replacing all broken bricks as well as finishing them off beautifully and sealing them. We were 100% happy with this company and the job they performed at our home. We highly recommend them!"

"If I could give 0 stars, I would. I hope this is a warning for anyone considering using Allen, they are absolutely HORRENDOUS to work with. Never in my life have I spoken with such a disgusting manager. To give back story, we hired Allen to inspect our backflow last July. A member of the team came out, inspected, and gave us a green/blue tag saying we were “all good to go”. He mentioned that we didn’t need any paperwork, and that they would submit it directly to the water district. A year later, our water district called letting us know they were shutting off our water because they never got a passing test from Allen. The manager and receptionist BOTH said it was mine and my husband’s fault because we mentioned in passing that we would eventually take out our sprinkler, so the information never got sent to the water district. DISGUSTING! This was also after admitting that the inspector didn’t work there anymore “for good reason”. After arguing with the Manager who still insisted it was mine and my husband’s fault, they sent out a new tech who straight up told the manager while I was standing there “the inspector did pass them in their inspection and gave them a tag. The information is all here. The office must not have filed the paperwork correctly”. They still continued to send us a bill for the re-inspection. Save yourself the hassle and hire someone that actually cares."
