Someone (I don't remember who) recommended Mark Becker, the owner, and after checking out some other companies, I went with him. <br /> <br /> They do a good job, and I especially like that they generally do chores not just according to some pre-defined schedule but also taking into account the weather patterns (like whether it's really the right time to do a particular seasonal task or the task should be delayed).  Mark is always willing to provide advice on things I can/should be doing and responds to email pretty promptly, which I appreciate."

"<p>Basile cut my lawn every week.  They were prompt, dependable and always did an excellent job with all trimmings cleaned up.  If for some reason I needed them to skip a week (new grass) it was easy to just send an email and the schedule was immediately adjusted with consistent communication about the change.  </p> <p>I also had them install metal edging on two garden beds. Installation was clean, secure and as planned.  (I laid out the string as a guide.)  I was disappointed that on this job, while the edging was installed properly, there was no attempt to clear the surface of grass within the edging.  For the $400, they did what I would consider the minimum necessary to complete it.....but I had to go back later and finish the surrounding area.</p> <p>I will use their service again next summer for the lawn.  Good response and customer service attitude from everyone in the company.  </p> . <br />"

"The team from K & S Lawn Maintenance did a quick and excellent job of spreading mulch in numerous flower bed areas, and reseeding bare areas on our lawn, which included two old ground stump areas, clearing out the stump mulch and filling with topsoil. Grass is growing nicely in the bare areas and the mulched beds look great. I also had them transplant some pachysandra that had gotten into a a flower bed near it., and had those transplanted plants in the pachysandra area."

Either the owner or one of the guys tries to answer my questions over the phone and if they don't know what I'm talking about, they will come and look at it. They are very customer oriented. I feel that even though they are part of a national organization, they seem to behave like local people. When I call, it is very obvious that these people own the business. Lawn Systems installed sprinkler systems for my two of my family members who were both happy with their systems which made choosing them easy. First off, they are like clockwork, every appointment time thought the process was met on time or slightly early. Every employee from the salesman to the install crew and the walk-through tech were professional. I have a large koi pond that I have a home install sprinkler system already installed around it. I was thrilled to find out they could connect to it and add it as it's own zone so I didn't have to pay them to redo it. I was also very impressed how little damage was done to the lawn after the job was completed. They had to dig a 4-foot deep hole with a trench in my front yard to connect to the water supply and had to run a line under my driveway & I could barely tell they did it. Even after we had a few inches of rain a day or two before the installation. We are happy with the function of the system and the ease of programming and adjusting, I can even do it from my phone from anywhere. I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future."
