Upon further investigation, I suspect that the challenge lies in the vacuum effect that doors create, preventing proper latching. I intend to reach out to Larson to explore potential solutions and ensure the optimal functionality of the storm door. Interestingly, the storm door latches seamlessly when the front door is open; it is only when the front door is shut that the issue arises. I mention this detail for the benefit of others who may encounter a similar situation.
