"I was initially encouraged as Mr. Saul answered promptly and agreed to visit my home the same day to calculate an estimate. I could not be at home at the appointed time, but gave him permission to inspect my windows from the outside. He agreed to leave an estimate on a business card at my home and he did so as promised. His estimate was higher than others, but certainly not unreasonable. I called back in approximately one week and asked if we could make an appointment to clean my windows on a day I was already scheduled to be off work, approximately two weeks in advance. Mr. Saul indicated that he does not work by appointment. He said that he tries to group his jobs by neighborhood and that most of his customers leave a key under the mat and allow his crew to come and go at will. Having not used his service before I expressed reluctance to simply leave a key out so that he could perform the job whenever it suited. I indicated that I certainly understood that inclement weather may adversely impact his ability to clean my windows on my preferred day, but that was the only weekday I was off work in the foreseeable future. He reiterated that he would not accept the job under those conditions. He conceded that he had tickets to a local music festival during the time frame my selected day occurred, but his crew would be available to do the job if I would allow. I reiterated that I would prefer not to leave my house open in my absence. Since we were at an impasse, I advised Mr. Saul that I would seek another professional to do the job. He said that his crew would be working in my neighborhood the same week and he would have someone call me to see if another day suited. I repeated that the only day I had off was the one I suggested. My sense was that he wanted the job but it would be on his terms or none. I told him no call would be necessary. <br />"
