"Don was punctual and professional as was his helper. He started the job very quickly and finished within the week despite having a lot of tasks to do. He even agreed to remove all the old carpeting and tack strips for a nominal cost as well as the previous home owners trash they left in the home. He removed a lot of wallpaper, repaired drywall holes and pet damage before painting with 2 - 3 coats of paint. My wife is very happy with the result. Don recommended and used Sherwin Williams paint which I was happy to see due to their quality, yet he didn't try to sell me on very expensive top of the line paint. We were on a very tight budget, Don saved us a lot of money blowing away the other bids and he did more work than the other bidders were willing to do. "It went well.  Phil found several oddities in the wiring of our second story.  As well as a couple of items that "Took time to resolve." <br /> I had already spent over a day trying to get Lights and plugs working.  Phil found several problems from crossed wiring to a burned out light bulb. <br /> Finally everything is working again. "Unexpected delays; job is not complete yet. No Problems. After old cabinet and wall removal, we had an inspection and got a surprise. The inspector requested we remove all drywall from ceilings in 2 rooms, kitchen and adjoining room (not in the Plan!). Bruce was patient explaining what was next, why the extra work and cost had to be, and the impact it would have on his timeline. He was very fair and made us feel confident about the project, though the whole ordeal was a stressful thing to deal with. All of this has set our finish date back. Which gives me the chance to do another review. I intend to post a before and after photo if allowed. Bruce has given us fair pricing and is thorough in answering all of our questions. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and methodical. He's always patient, even with all of our change orders! I definitely want to hire him for other custom projects down the road.
