I had several "flat roof experts" come look at the job and walk away. Bill (the son) didn't even blink. He immediately gave us the confidence needed to know these guys are the real deal. They took two layers of tar & gravel roof off my house and installed a high tech membrane and insulation. They had to drop the old roof down to the ground then hump it up the stairs into the dumpster. They came with 9 guys, Antonio was the crew chief. The nicest guys. And when they left, my property looked clean, without a single shrub or flower out of place. And the new roof is beautiful. Bill (the father) was here to supervise and really added to our confidence and satisfaction. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these guys deserve the shout out."

"The new owner of this vacant mixed-use building planned a complete interior renovation. Although the roof was not the most visible part of the project, it was replaced first so new framing, mechanical work, and finishes would not be installed beneath an unreliable assembly. The old modified-bitumen roof contained numerous patched curbs from previous tenants. Mechanical plans were reviewed before demolition. Curbs that would not be reused were removed and infilled, while locations for future equipment were coordinated with the roof layout. This prevented the new membrane from being opened repeatedly as the interior work progressed. Removal exposed a plywood deck with scattered damage around the abandoned penetrations. The contract carried an allowance for 12 sheets, but only eight required replacement. The remaining deck was firm and capable of supporting the new assembly. "We spent several years repairing our flat roof one leak at a time. A patch near the front wall would hold, then another leak would appear beside a plumbing vent or at the rear drain. Eventually we realized that the yearly repair bills were postponing a replacement rather than preserving a roof with much useful life left. The full project became realistic after we were referred to a third-party finance company. We submitted the application to the lender and qualified for a monthly payment arrangement under its terms. The roofer did not provide the loan, but the financing meant we could replace the roof without waiting for another interior leak. Multiple roofing layers were removed during the project. The oldest material had trapped moisture around the drain and beneath part of the front parapet flashing. Several decking boards in those areas were replaced, while the majority of the roof structure remained sound. The new assembly included insulation, a membrane roof, drain detailing."

"Installation Date: Late August 2022 The roof installation and gutters were installed and look great. I DO NOT like what they did with the flashing on my chimney. It looked cheap, put together in haste, and with really bad and cheap materials. I had to call and argue with a representative to explain to him that the job they did on the chimney was horrible and that it had to be corrected. He tried to convince me it was the way it's done. I then showed him my neighbors house who had their roof done by another company. Power Home charges a premium and it didn't seem like they were very invested in the job they were doing. Additionally, the trash bin that was delivered was way to small and all the trash didn't fit. As a consequence, they left trash in front on my house and on my property for weeks after. I had to call a second time and resort to begging to get them to come by to pick up the trash. Overall, I feel like they didn't respect the job they were doing, the final touches were horrible, and they didn't treat my home with love or respect (as if it were their own home). Also, there is now a huge gap between the siding and the new roofing material. I fee they should have found and budgeted for a solution for that issue in the form of a bit of siding or flashing to minimize that gap. Now water and critters will get in through that gap. Overall, if I could do it again, I would defiantly NOT chose Power Home Remodeling. I DO NOT recommend them."

"I had some concrete that needed to be replaced. Bob and his team did a wonderful job. Bob really listens to my needs. I had asked a few other contractors for quotes but they were all jacks of all trades but masters of none. Bob King is a master at concrete. He specializes in concrete and brick work. Bob is the owner and boss. But he works on site with his team and make sure the job is done right. Prices are reasonable too. Very happy with his service and ease to work with."
