"Joe and his team spent several months with us doing a fabulous major remodel of our 50-year-old townhouse. He completely tore out and remade three full bathrooms and our kitchen down to the studs. It is so beautiful now that guests are stopped in their tracks and I have had many people ask for help with their own projects after seeing it.à   In particular, the guys at JoRod were reliable and on time, organized, friendly and careful. They went above and beyond to make sure everythingà  was done to our specifications, and they offered useful advice when we weren't sure what we wanted to do. They were responsive in communication, polite and easy toà  work with. Joe and I worked together to design a new master bathroom from scratch, borrowingà  space from the closet to add a bathtub. He framed the new room and added walls and a door. He tiled, plumbed, installed and painted. He built me new shelves for the existing closet and brought in an electrician to add all new lighting for all four remodeled rooms. I chose some very complicated tile patterns and he figured it all out.à   He also replaced the water heater and figured out how to vent the space under the house to keep it from corroding.à  He went shopping with me to pick up tile with his truck and picked up things for me that I ordered. This was my second project working with JoRod, since I also hired him to redo the bathroom in my parents' house. I enjoy working with him and would definitely do it again. "Nathan impressed from the time I first met him. He was far more professional than other contractors in terms of describing how his company works and what I should expect if I worked with him. He also has a nice showroom where you can look a variety of cabinets in different styles and colors as well as countertops. We ended up getting a countertop that he suggested. We would never had picked it on our own but it ended up looking amazing in our kitchen. We had him do a complete remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The guys on his crew were always prompt and showed up as scheduled. His foreman was both a good communicator and listener. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, they communicated clearly what additional costs would be involved (if any) and how much additional time it might take. The cabinets he installed were custom made but did not cost more than the pre-fab ones you can buy at the large home improvement stores. They are of high quality and well constructed. I actually saw his cabinet guy using a small caliper to make sure the door distances from the cabinets were all even! Lastly...here's something you'll never hear about a contractor...he finished AHEAD of time! Nathan's company are straight shooters and very skilled craftsmen. I would work with them again."

"We wanted to extend and screen enclose our patio so we could better enjoy sitting outside without those annoying flies pestering us. We decided to hire Sun Boss because of their longevity and reputation in the industry. David Kain from Sun Boss was very thorough in presenting all the options to us. David was also very helpful meeting with our HOA design review committee to offer extension design options that could be approved in our community. Thanks to David's efforts, we did get approval. Our patio roof was extended six feet by twenty-four feet. All the material used is of high quality construction and an attractive appeal sandstone color that coordinated naturally with the color of our house. Donn Stanley from Sun Boss was very dependable. He kept us updated throughout the project in coordinating material delivery, the workload, permits and invoices. David Shelby, Sun Boss installer, was absolutely a true professional and very skilled in the construction of our custom project. He cleaned up at the end of each day (seven days total). David was very meticulous making sure every detail was done correctly. He would always stop to answer any concerns we had during the installation. There were a few minor issues that had to be corrected, however Sun Boss and David Shelby did not hesitate to come back and make it right. We measure a good company not only by a quality product, but also by how well they respond to issues or concerns. Sun Boss definitely provided both with excellent customer service. We are really enjoying our patio now. And, with the positive experience we had, can highly recommend Sun Boss."
