"Very professional, and experienced in his field. They were outstanding, and also did an amazing job at making the replacement stucco match the pre-existing... it doesn't look like a patch/repair job."

I have done a good job for 35 years and I will do a good job for you. I have over 5000 happy customers. Trust me and trust my angleslist-google and yelp reviews. I personally guarantee a "no babysit/professional job" in every phase of our interaction-from the minute we meet until the next time we meet. I am old school with an obsession to detail. I picked up my first paint brush in 1967 at 10 years old and painted my dads front porch (battleship gray) Ha! I think thats all we had back then....but I got the pat on the back and never looked back.

"Tom Cohen and Joe Sapir were great. They went through the possibilities and options with us, including what we could do with our budget and possibilities for financing. We bought our house as part of a repossessed hillside property, and we had to buy it in "as is" condition with decades of deferred maintenance. We had chipped away at fixing up the interiors over the past ten years, and were ready for a major (and long overdue) overhaul of the exteriors. The house is 1,200 square feet, but the garage is basically two stories with the living area on the third floor. That means a lot of stucco to repair and a lot of surface to paint. We needed new windows to replace the 50-year old ones that were original with the house, along with a new front door and sliding glass door in the back. This included expanding the size of the windows so that they were bigger (and actually up to code). The insulation in the attic was very old and needed to be replaced as well. Our garage door was dented (by a previous owner) and needed to be replaced along with the motor. Our back porch was falling apart, and we needed that repaired and painted. Our back yard had little privacy and was too hot to spend much time in for most of the year, so we also had them put in a large alumawood patio cover that extends over the porch and most of the yard (to the edge of our garden). It was important to us not to just pick a "low bid" contractor and instead to get a company that would do the work with high-quality materials and skilled crews with proper insurance and quality guarantees. We wanted this to be the last major overhaul we have to do on the exteriors of this house. The crews that came to do all of the work were very skilled, and worked with us to make sure they were doing exactly the work we wanted. Each phase of the project went quickly and efficiently, with prompt inspections and "touch-ups" afterwards to make sure everything was done well. Tom and Joe were very responsive and communicated well with us throughout the projects. We are very happy with the work, and we got our money's worth."

"Working with ?All About Paint? to have the exterior of our home painted was a great experience. They returned phone calls immediately, gave us a very competitive quote, provided references and even helped to choose the perfect color combination. Once the work commenced, they removed the gutters, pressure washed the whole house, made repairs to the stucco in various areas, painted all exterior, wood trim, patio cover, front doors, side doors, and metal garage doors. They even went as far as removing the exterior light fixtures, and re-installing them when the work was complete. It took them a complete week to do the job. They were on-time every morning and were meticulous about masking everything, and not getting over-spray or spilling paint on anything. The house looks great, and I will definitely use them again. My neighbor was so impressed with their work, that he hired ?All About Paint? to paint his house the following week.

"WONDERFUL AND ALWAYS ON TOP OF THINGS! I highly recommend Best builders group. We used Best Builders Group to completely remodel our large kitchen. We received several estimates from 4 other construction companies and Best Builders Group was not the lowest nor the most expensive. But, Zohar was able to present us many sets of photos from their past projects and also seemed the most truthful from the other ones. We needed to have our kitchen fully complete within 5 weeks because we didn’t want to move in to our new house without having the new kitchen. Zohar and his skilled team did complete the kitchen project on time and a little bit less than the agreed budget. After the kitchen was complete, Zohar and his people came over several times in order to do some small adjustments as we asked (things that we can ask only after we start using the kitchen). To be more specific - they came over 3 months after the work was done. We currently have new plans on remodeling our bathrooms and Zohar at Best Builders Group will be for sure the first and only team we call."

"From the beginning meeting I had with Steve I knew I wanted him to do my job. We agreed that someone would always be on the job from beginning to end. Every worker was not only competent but had a talent for doing their specialty. To begin with, we had dried the place out back in April and now it was September 15 when we finished with the insurance company and decided to start work. We were not going to just put the place back together. We were putting in all new flooring, complete new kitchen, all new solid core doors, casing, and base through out the house, with 2 complete bathroom makeover and one partial. We also took off the popcorn treatment from the 70's that covered all the ceilings. Complete painting of the entire house was at the finish phase of our plans. The kitchen had to completed gutted and started over. The slab needed to be cut and a new drain line installed. The wiring along a back wall needed to be corrected as it was a problem with the circuit breaker from past under another construction company. The kitchen got a complete makeover right down to he granite countertops, cabinets, flooring, and backsplash. With Steve's suggestion, we did a tile backsplash that added a center design at the cooktop. The fireplace was going to be modified but had to be rebuilt when it tumbled to the floor when attempting to work on it. Steve and his crew rebuilt the fireplace to my satisfaction and prepped it for TV and hide the wires behind the rock facade. If that isn't enough, Steve's guys completely remodeled two entire bathrooms and the third one with everything done but the bathtub and flooring. Inline General construction also did 5 window replacement. All the lights in the house were changed out and updated to LED and , we had 3 new fan/lights installed. The stucco repair his guy's did to the outside was really good! This job took 2 1/2 months to complete. This was a very big job for a homeowner to go through but Inline General Construction managed it very well from beginning to end. Steve's communication made all the difference on the job."

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Foothill Ranch, CA

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
