"Scope of project: 1) reset/regrade pavers stones in front walkway and back patio area that were displaced by new driveway and trenches, 2) install drain in low spot connecting to an existing drain, 3) demo a platform of pavers next to the garage to make even with the rest of the patio. I had a wonderful experience hiring Jose with Luna Masonry from beginning to end. I chose him over other bids because he seemed very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and well versed in the scope of my project. His estimate also seemed like a fair fee. Jose and crew were able to schedule right away and completed my project in a timely fashion. The end result was very impressive and they cleaned up the work area well. "Aaron and his team were right on time. They walked around the yard with us and we discussed what we wanted done and made a priority list. The two men who did the work did a great job! They cleaned up and repaired the places where they had dug up the shrubs so the ground was level. They hauled away all the debris and cleaned out all the plant beds. They also fertilized the grass. We have used Preferred several times before for hardscaping and sprinkler installation but this is the first time we have had a crew come and do clean-up, pruning etc. Aaron and his team had the same attention to detail, commitment to doing a good job and standing by their work as David and his team had. We highly recommend them!"

He and Hunter did a great job stabilizing the 10 ft. by 10 ft. area under our pergola, pressure washed the existing flagstone, installed a concrete pad and re-installed the flagstone with mortar. "They did quite a bit of work. They’ve been really, really good. You pay monthly for all weeks out of the year, so even if it snows, you have to pay for them to come out, but, from what I understand, they still will clean up the leaves and all that kind of stuff. They were very punctual, listened to what I was requesting, and if I had an issue, their follow-up was prompt and it was taken care of. They come every Thursday."

"When we first contacted them, Mariano came to give us a quote the very next day. The quote beat his competitors by a long shot, and he was a very nice guy who had received great reviews on Angie's List before. The initial yard clean-up & barkdust went forward as scheduled. We were delighted with his crew's work and speed with which they got it all done. However, once we scheduled them for twice monthly upkeep thereafter, there were THREE occasions where they did not show up on the day or time scheduled to do the maintenance. Each time we had to call and Mariano had someone there to do the work the next day, yet it was a major inconvenience not having them show when they would say they would. Our family's schedule is too busy for this kind of unreliability. Therefore we will not be using their services again this summer and will be hiring another company, even if that means paying a bit more."
