That was done (and cleaned up) plus the new roof installed in one day. Then and old wood siding was repaired in many places, all walls were covered with Tyvek moisture barrier, and the new siding, a new window, eave vents and even a new spotlight fixture (which I provided) was installed in a matter of 2 days. "First, let me complain about roofers in general. They seem uninterested in doing repairs and just want to do a whole new roof, which is very expensive. They don't return calls and even when they do, they often don't come out to look things over, and when they do, they don't always come through with an estimate. We had a couple of leaks for many years and had been unsuccessful in finding someone to fix it definitively. Mike Scheinfield sent his long-term guy Matthew and we got a friendly visit and a timely estimate. While we tried to get comparison estimates, he offered a discount, as they had some extra time in-between jobs. Since his was the best estimate, we went ahead. We were pleased with their service and attention. So far, the roof has not leaked again. Of course, we have to wait until there are a few more heavy downpours to know for sure if it is fixed definitively. They gave us a year guarantee (mainly because it was a repair and not a whole new roof)."

"I needed a new roof to satisfy the Insurance company (my existing roof was 28 years old). Called Home Run Roofing at 5pm on Monday, scheduled the rep for the next morning. "Lane Roofing did a fabulous job. Shawn the estimator took the time to listen, and was true to his word from the beginning. He was the first on the job and the last to leave. We had concerns with potential debris in the walk up floored attic, and he even brought plastic sheeting to cover everything upstairs. Otto and the 5 crew members worked from 7:30 am to after 5pm to get it all done in one day. They spent a lot of time in preparation before starting roof removing and even more time playing cleanup with magnets for any loose nails and metal debris.
