John was extremely responsive to all of my questions and concerns throughout the design process. Once they were able to get started, they worked extremely quickly, in the hottest week of the year. They had to dig out and replace our wall/patio completely by hand because our house is raised and getting equipment back there is not feasible. And yet, they worked so efficiently, they made the job seem easy - and it definitely was not! They were also extremely thorough! And were very willing to help me out in small side projects that we added on as we went. Even after the main project was completed, they came back to tackle the tuck-pointing because they didn't want to rush it. They even came back on two separate occasions when I was concerned about the drainage on small spots on the patio. "Jim Roberts was very helpful and understanding on this project.  The basic reason for the work was to fix broken swimming pool pipes underneath a concrete deck.  This was a small job and I had many problems trying to work with other contractors on getting them to show-up.  Jim responded when I contacted him.  His bid was appropriate for the work and he came out tore out the deck.  Then he waited a couple of weeks while the pool pipes were dug up and fixed.  He came back within a week of calling, set forms, and completed the project.  During the whole process he returned all my calls and even called to check on the progress of the pool repair.
