They came same-day to assess the job and prepare an estimate, gave me their best price, then 3 days later on the day before Thanksgiving, they reduced it by another $1,000 ("Black Friday Special"!). "Vinny and his team at McLeod Brothers were fantastic to work with. Our new home had its original wood shake roof (100 years old) with 4 layers of asphalt shingles layered on top. Vinny was extremely communicative, honest, and diligent - he stopped by the site almost every day to check-in. His team was incredibly efficient and very hard working. With a complete roof removal and installation there is always going to be some debris around the home (old roofing and nails), but his team did an incredible job of cleaning up. "My wife and I purchased a distressed property a few years ago and one room in particular, the sun room, was an eyesore and in dire need of attention. We had just installed new windows and were not making any progress on the other items on our list. We found Jim's name on a list of local contractors recommended by our realtor, and his estimate was reasonable. Jim's team removed a ceramic tile floor and installed new baseboards and a floating engineered hardwood. A tile ceiling was removed, and the drywall ceiling underneath was repaired, and a new ceiling fan and light fixture installed. "Taylor Rae did a terrific job for me providing and installing a new front door and sliding patio door. They also built a custom made partial roof over my front door to replace an old roof that had fallen into disrepair. I am very happy with the high quality of the products, materials and installation. They did a fine job matching to old aluminum siding and replacing old sills under doors. They cleaned up everything after the installs. The doors look great. Taylor Rae were friendly, professional and responsive, coming out a few days after each installation to check on them and make minor adjustments. Pricing was reasonable and transparent. Doors took a few weeks to be made and Taylor Rae kept me up to date on status and they were very flexible in scheduling installations. Great company. They stand behind their products and work.
