"The cement on our slate patio was cracking and in need of attention. Mr. Sanchez and his crew did a great job of grinding out the old cement, stabilizing the stones where necessary and putting in new cement. The crew was efficient and polite. The job was finished on time and for a fair price, IMO. Before and after photos (of one small area) attached. [One note: The grinding out of the old cement created a signigicant amount of dust. much of which went into the adjacent garden. My wife was/is concerned this will affect the chemistry of the soil, thereby affecting the health of her plants. Just be aware.] Highly recommend."

"I was extremely satisfied with the professional conduct of this job. I had carefully designed the structure of the shed. It was important that all the dimensions of the slab be met accurately and that the 6 posts be placed precisely and perfectly vertical. They were. Working with Jaime was very satisfying as we had numerous discussions about details as the job progressed. I provided some large salvage planks from the old shed that could be used to build forms, and he provided several significant suggestions to improve the end result. The slab was on a slight slope. He provided much deeper concrete on the downhill side to anchor the slab and resist underwash. He provided a large footer under each post before the main concrete pour, because the posts were going to carry the entire weight of the roof. I would not have thought to do that. This is the value of hiring an experienced contractor. The shed has been completed and the first delivery of sawdust has been made. The slabs stood up to the significant weight of the delivery truck as can be seen in my pictures."

"We cannot be more pleased with the work done by G&S Concrete Contracting. We had a very old, very small patio at our back door that was very unsightly. We were told that flagstone would be cost prohibited for such a small area and when we reached out to stamped concrete contractors, we were told that they didn’t’ handle such small jobs. Enter G&S which we found by Angi’s list. Jose, the owner, called personally and after talking about stamped concrete, he recommended flagstone at a very reasonable price. Jose, Pete, Emilio and his brother did a superb job of carefully leveling the base, applying the thin layer of mortar and aligning the flagstone so that it looks perfect. Jose even came out and painted our door sill so that it matched the flagstone. This all happened within a week of the initial phone call. If you want beautiful, professional concrete work, large or small, at reasonable prices, G&S is the way to go."
