I requested a consultation to discuss a tree at my new home that seemed to be a bit too close to the house, and I wanted advice about whether it should be removed. Andy Roth, a certified arborist, arrived on time for the consultation. He provided expert advice about how long the tree could remain in its current location near our patio and how to care for it. He also answered all of our questions about possible trees we were considering planting on a slope right off the patio. The consultation was free. My impression of Andy Roth was that he was very professional, knowledgeable, considerate of our time, and addressed our every concern. In the past, I had dealt with Jeff Walton and was equally impressed. The services provided in the past included tree trimming and periodic spray treatment to prevent a fungal disease. "Hambletons provides regular care for my lawn. I can rely on them to keep my lawn looking good and they always clean up after leaving. I hired them last fall to do a fairly major bamboo removal project. Almost a third of my yard was bamboo and (as it does) it was creeping forward. The team took a backhoe to the yard to remove the bamboo from the root, removed a couple trees that had been rotting (2 of which were not originally planned for) and installed barriers on the side of the yard with a bamboo neighbor. I had a few shoots leftover and they came back out to remove them once I pointed them out. The crew was very professional. To get the backhoe into the yard, they removed and replaced my fence - no issues. They replaced the topsoil and seeded so I would have grass replace the bamboo. It worked awesome. While they were at it, I had them weed, mulch and take care of a rotting bush. The yard looked so much better. Bamboo is an evil beast if you don't know what you are doing with it. The previous owners of my house did not. Hambletons has helped me take care of a big problem and I've already contracted them for this summer to monitor and remove any shoots that creep back in. All my research has shown that it can be a multi year process and Hambletons will be my provider of choice!"
