"The team arrived and got right to work removing two large branches on a tall 40' pear tree next to the house. They carefully removed the main branches and smaller horizontal branches hanging over the roof, and no damage was done to the house or gutters during the work. Would recommend Black Cherry to anyone needing their trees trimmed. A+"

"Mr. Ridenour responded promptly to my inquiry about tree removal and treatment, scheduled an appropriate time to come out for an estimate, came out on time, gave me a fair price and scheduled a time to come do the work, and had a team do the work all within two weeks. Mr. Ridenour arrived right on time with the crew to review with the foreman and I what the work would be. They dove right in and worked quickly and safely through a pretty hot morning. When all was said and done, they'd removed four diseased trees, treated and trimmed one diseased tree, ground the stump from one tree, converted two of those trees into nice fireplace size logs for me and trimmed some pine branches off the exterior of my house. My firewood was neatly stacked, all the twigs and pinecones were raked up and disposed of and everything was complete within three hours or so. The crew was friendly, polite, professional and made sure to check with me at various points to ensure felling the trees didn't destroy any of my favorite trees, shrubs or plants in the vicinity. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and while I hope not to have any more diseased trees that need to be taken down, I now know who to call."

"Corey Allen had delays in getting to my home after the job was bid based on inclement weather, but arrived as promised this past Tuesday. They did a beautiful job in removing the trees and thoroughly cleaning up the debris. He was very careful not to damage my yard with their big equipment. It was a terrific job at a fair price. "Communication was poor. Work was done over three days, but the team would show up and leave without any warning or notification. I was right inside the house. Equipment was in our driveway while they worked, which was reasonable, but it would have been nice to be asked about that first, because it meant my car was stuck in the garage the whole time. (I suppose, to be fair, communication was pretty poor with almost all the people we contacted about quotes for this job.) They didn't even notify us when they were done, just mailed an invoice. A message about wanting to pay with credit card was not returned, finally found out they don't take credit card, even though it shows they do here and on their website (they did apologize for this). As for the work itself, they did a decent job removing the tree. They damaged a plant in the front yard and made one or two deep divots in the lawn, but that's probably to be expected. They ground out 95% of the stump and hauled away the excess mulch. Ultimately they got the job done at a competitive price during a busy season, but they won't be our go-to providers for future work."

Jimmy came out to do the quote, we walked the property and he told me exactly what would be done with each tree.   I appreciated this as the other companies I contacted came out and did a walk around and left the quote and did not know which trees I needed service on. I was not aware when they actually did the quote.  One of the estimated was for almost 3 times the amount of Jimmy's quote.

Jimmy did the actually trimming and his crew was great to work with.   They did an excellent job on the trees and everything was cleaned up afterward.  Their price was very reasonable for the work they did. 

I would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them again.

"Milton and his crew did an excellent job taking down our spruce tree, chopping and grinding it up. Using safety ropes and saws they climbed our trees and made them look a lot better. We recently got a new fence near the locust tree and then decided we needed to have the locust tree trimmed. Milton and his crew carefully removed the problem limbs and cleaned up our yard and the neighbors' yards. Before the men left, Milton chopped up the stump on the spruce tree and the men cleaned up all the debris that fell in the yard. They cleaned up all the tree debris in the street in front of the house before they left. They did an excellent job cleaning up the tree debris and left and yard and street in great shape. They cut the trees neatly with no striped bark or any damage."
