"They did a good job. Stucco matched what was surrounding repair site in question. Would hire them again and recommend them if someone needed Stucco work, big or small. Our job was 24 inches by 12 inches. Most importantly, they clean up after themselves. Locked all gates when they left so puppies did not get out."

"Estrella Plastering did an excellent job repairing/replacing/stuccoing part of our home's wall that had long-term rain water damage due to small holes and cracks in the stucco of a 25 year old home. It was appx. 11' x 13' of wall that needed significant work. They were great on price and workmanship and worked through a weekend to complete the project. Their knowledge and attention to detail is top notch. I looked into other highly rated companies and they either didn't call back, shied away from this type of job or just wanted to only do stucco plastering, not the type of repairs I needed. If you need any work that requires repairs to walls/holes/cracks and new stucco, this is the only company I would recommend. If I ever need any more stucco repair I will only work with Estrella Plastering!"

"Overall, my experience was good. It was a reasonable price. I thought the estimate was good. It would've worked out just fine if we would've gone with that door. We decided not to go with the door, so we didn't need the stucco work."

"I had new scuppers installed during roof replacement. I needed stucco repair around the new scuppers and there was rain in the forecast. They came out Saturday morning and did my repair so I wouldnâ t have to worry about the rain."

"I live in PA but needed some lawn and yard work done for our rental home in Scottsdale AZ. I got a callback from Cisco less than an hour after submitting a quote request via AngiesList and gave the details of the work I wanted done. He stopped by the property to have a look the same day and called me back with the price. I agreed to move forward and he started the work immediately, and finished up by the next day. The scope of the work increased a little due to finding and replacing broken sprinkler pipes. Cisco seems like a good guy and was very responsive and easy to talk to. He emailed me photos of the yard before and after the job. He and his crew did a nice job for me at a reasonable price. I will use them again."

"We had an addition project where the GC died near the end. There was a minor structural issue that remained and needed to stucco/restucco the original structure and addition. Tony and his crew came to the rescue. The finished the structural elements and stuccoed the entire structure. In less then a week (with Christmas in the middle), the Fiano crew completed everything despite the weather. The original estimate was nearly 3 weeks. Several subsequent trades has commented on the quality of the stucco job. So it is not just me viewpoint on the quality of Fiano's work."

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Fountain Hills, AZ

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
