"I hired H&D Custom Painting to strip, repair and paint the exterior trim, doors and carport as I readied my home for sale. I was impressed with the care and meticulous attention to detail that Hakim and Donna brought to the project. This was not a "slap a coat of paint on and call it a day" operation. H&D stayed within their estimate, completed the work within the deadline requested while managing work on days when weather permitted. They provided excellent results. H&D understood that mine was a historic property and treated the home and project with extreme care. They also focused on little details that most would have ignored or disregarded - as examples, they painted and refreshed the locksets on the exterior doors and touched up other door hardware without being asked. Overall, H&D provided an exceptional customer experience. I have hired them again for another project at a different property."

Unfortunately, with all the non-stop rain and the onset of cold weather, the project got delayed until the spring. Despite these conditions out of his control, Wayne (owner of the company) honored the estimate that was provided in the fall and sent a crew out to tackle our project early this spring. The crew did an excellent job. They were attentive to detail and worked efficiently. We had a "surprise" squirrel next up in the fascia boards causing considerable damage. No worries: the guys removed the nests and repaired the board. We are very pleased with the work and would hire them again."

He created a very detailed & professional quote and followed through on everything that he promised within that quote, with regards to the amount of work, quality of work and paint selections. He made great recommendations that helped me to get my rental home ready for sale. There were a lot of repairs from 4 years of renting to tenants and he handled that very well. The final product was excellent, looked gorgeous and received many compliments from those that toured the home for showings. I do have one warning / alert. The project took a lot longer than expected. Luckily I had some wiggle room in timing but if you have a tight deadline, make sure you’re clear about this upfront. Will is a one-man show, because of this, any issues that occur for him (illness, family, etc) does create delays. Will did everything possible to stay on schedule (late nights / early mornings / long days) but it was impossible given the fact that he had to do everything on his own. If you have the time to be flexible, Will does not disappoint!"

"The sun room was built to appear original to our 1925 colonial revival house - with lots of wood moulding. It included 12 new Andersen casement windows that needed to painted on the inside and along all four sides, their interior removable grills, and 2 french doors with 15 panes each. Chuck primed and painted the interior and exterior, excluding the exterior of the windows which were aluminum clad. I'm fussy about painting and Chuck was wiling to discuss his approach with me beforehand in detail. He was easy to work with and accommodating. I have no doubt Chuck could work speedy if that's what you want, but I made it clear that craftsmanship was more important to me than time and he took the time necessary to do everything right, and to my specifications. There were many places inside and out where he had to edge against stone, natural wood and tile. I'm very happy with his work. As you can see in the pictures, he did a beautiful job with everything."
