"The first time I used Triton Roofing was to roof a 950 sq. ft. shop.  I was so impressed with the installation that I hired them to install 6700 watt solar array and partial re-roof on my home which we are very pleased with.   A year later hail damage forced the re-roof of the entire home.  I went back to Triton. Three jobs later, I am totally satisfied with the cost, schedule, performance and customer relationship of this company.  Well done! <br />"

"They were awesome. We had hail damage. They are amazing. The storm was in July, 2016. He came out in the beginning of August to do the initial check of my house. He talked to my insurance company. He was very good with the insurance people in getting my house fixed. It took a while to get done because in Colorado, you can't do some things in the winter. On good days, they would come out and work on repairs.  He subcontracted this stuff out because he looked for people who could do the job at a reasonable price. He is not one of those people that will hire just anybody. He makes sure that the job gets done and people want to work. He called when something came up. He came out to check. He was amazing. He was very informative, very professional and very responsive. I didn't have to deal with a lot of stuff like shady people and insurance scams. He took care of the insurance company and everything else. They were always on time. If they couldn't make it because of weather, you got notification. He would call in advance on the scheduled day, like two hours ahead, so I could get my dogs out of the yard."

"Horn Brothers has replaced a number of shake roofs in our neighborhood, so we went with them.  Very professional and courteous. Relatively expensive compared to other options, but high quality product and installation.   Project took about a week.   Job site was kept extremely clean each night. <br />"

"Everything was completed in a reasonable amount of time and nothing was asked of me except paying for my beautiful new roof. The crew cleaned up after they were through. I would definitely hire them again, except my new roof has a very long life span. My neighbor used Llanro Roofing a couple of years before I needed them, and his raves not only swayed me to call them but his father and his father's neighbor also used them. An exceptional company."

"It went well.  There were some delays with the insurance claim, but everything went smoothly aside from that.  They did a great job with the installation and with the clean up after the work.  I am very happy with the new roof."

"I worked with their very experienced salesman from start to finish. He was incredibly helpful. He supplied information on the roofing materials, offered his recommendations for replacement, consulted on pricing AND then he coordinated with my insurance company, my picky HOA and the labor.     As an aside, my first insurance evaluation was lacking and my salesperson encouraged me to appeal it. Sure enough, a more experienced assessor was far more thorough and insurance appropriately yielded on the settlement.     Labor showed up on time, worked incredibly long hours in unbearable heat and finished well before I expected. The team was respectful of the property, meticulous in their clean-up and I had no worries when they were gone. They were efficient, coordinated and wasted neither time or materials. My house looks fantastic and is well aligned with our homeowner's roofing parameters.      This organization is a class act. You cannot ask for better service, pricing, consulting or virtually any assistance related to product. I was overwhelmed by their care, concern and professionalism on every front.     I will, and have, recommended them to a number of friends needing exterior care. I hope they thrive as service is the key to customer satisfaction and this company has all aspects of service covered!"

"This company did work for me in 2015 because I had major leaks around my Champion windows on the upper ridge of my house. They replaced all of them with Milgard windows. As of last Fall, 2017, I started having trouble with one of the windows that would open. These are about fourteen feet high so I must use a very long pole to open and close them. Because they are not easy to operate, I tend to open and close them only when necessary which is maybe 4-6 times a summer. Light use. this past Fall, one of the windows would not close totally, it was catching on something and I could feel the wind, which is a daily occurrence here. It is still that way and now another window which is in my bedroom is not closing totally either. I felt the wind in there this winter as well. Additionally, when we agreed about the storm door, the installer was going to put support under the door jam so the door would not sag as it was a heavy door. That did not happen for a couple of reasons he gave me. So, now I have a door that sags and has at least a gap of an inch at the top and it affects the mechanism that holds the door open and slows it when it closes. I called and texted last fall about these issues. I called the office and talked to a woman who took the message and I texted the man who installed the windows and the doors. Crickets. So, now I have two "quality" windows that I must close from the outside which means climbing on the roof and struggle fairly frequently with a door that will not always lock because it hangs crookedly or stay open for groceries because the mechanism comes loose. I refuse to try to contact them anymore. The original work, professionalism and punctuality, I thought was good, but it has not passed the test of time which hasn't been all that long ago when you consider the life of a window or door."

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Fowler, CO

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
