"Manny was both punctual, professional and knowledgeable in his assessment of my Rental Property kitchen and Laundry Appliances. I trusted his diagnostics with regards to the newly installed kitchen oven and missing ice-maker bin for the automatic ice maker bin. He ordered the parts and returned to replace parts as needed in an efficient, prompt and professional manner. I specially appreciate his professionalism as he noted that factory had not sent the correct ice-maker replacement bin for my freezer equipment and immediately re-ordered it. It was replaced today, Monday 29, June, 2020. In the interim, Manny kept me a rest of the status on delivery of the correct replacement part for this equipment . The cost informed below includes the initial $75/Service Call plus $185/Labor."

"Our 12 year old air conditioning failed to come on on Sunday 7/28. We called our maintenance service, who were also the original installers. The technician arrived fairly promptly and discovered a leak in the evaporator coils, which he showed to us. As the system was just about at the end of its expected life we asked for him to arrange for his sales manager to come and discuss our options. He arranged for that to happen on Tuesday morning.
We had never been very happy with the system we had, which was an Amana, 4 ton unit. It was quite noisy and also developed frequent faults, having the motherboard replaced twice and the motor once. It seemed that after every twice-yearly service it would go wrong. However they were prompt at attending service calls even at night and weekends, so we felt they needed a chance to quote for a replacement.  One mark that was against their service technicians was that they tried to sell new equipment such as filters and replacement humidifier on every call.
Meanwhile we arranged other sales visits from two other companies, one recommended by a neighbor and Climatic, who we found on an old flyer we had kept and also on Angie's list.
The first arrived on Monday morning, had a thorough look around and explained our options. I asked about zoning, as our basement was often too cold, the first floor OK and the second floor too hot. He said that was possible, suggesting a wireless thermostat for the second floor, and also quoted for our electrostatic filters to be replaced by similar sized ordinary filter boxes and a new humidifier. He also quoted for a system without those options, using American Standard equipment. The quotes were professional and emailed to us immediately.
The next sales rep, from our existing supplier, also arrived on time. He quoted for replacement a/c unit only, saying that the furnace had a lot of life left. He also included zoning. He did tell us that we didn't need new filter boxes just that the internals could be replaced with standard filters.
The Climatic rep, Sonny, arrived on time and was very personable. He was the only one to provide us with a brochure package. When we asked about zoning he looked at the duct work and told us that it wasn't suitable as the trunk to the second floor was too small to carry the full output of the a/c. He suggested instead that we install manual dampers that could restrict the airflow to the basement and first floor without putting a strain on the motor.  Then if the second floor was still too hot we could install ductless units up there instead.
We choose to use Climatic because we felt that Sonny demonstrated a good understanding of what we needed and also his pricing was very competitive.
The install took place on Thursday 8/1/13. The installers arrived promptly, were courteous and polite. There were two principle installers (John and Doug) and a younger one (another John). They were well organized, each having their tasks to do and worked efficiently. They arrived at 9:00am and worked through until 6:30pm, which was later than we or they expected. There weren't any problems as such,. When they left the mech room was clean, neat and tidy. The new Carrier units seem quieter than the old Amana, the installation looks neater than before, for instance the old condensate outlet pipe was made up of several short lengths of PVC, this now looks properly engineered.
Overall the new system seems more sophisticated than the old, especially the thermostat which has a "cool to dehumidify" setting which is very impressive. The whole house seems to be more evenly cooled - the second floor is no longer an oven.
I find myself wishing for a hot spell just to see just how good this new system is.
I would recommend Climatic to anyone that requires a new HVAC install.

"Robert called when he was enroute and arrived early. Hired him as an electrician for the day. During the day he replaced 2 ceiling fans and replaced 5 outside lights on the porch, garage, and back porch. He replaced a fuse for the ceiling fan, and changed out the front doorbell switch after trouble shooting it. He replaced a smoke detector and he replaced two light fixtures in our bathrooms. After completing all electrical work early, he gladly changed out a faucet in the powder room, and put up new 3-piece bathroom fixtures in all three bathrooms. All in a day's work. Robert was very professional the entire period and only stopped work after his 7 hours were up. Would gladly recommend his proficient and professional service. Terry Reid (Col USMC retired)"

FAQs for appliance (microwave oven) installation and replacement projects in Frederick, MD

A pro can finish the job in one to three hours. Countertop models are the quickest, but built-in, drawer, and over-the-range units take longer because the installer may need to run a new outlet, modify cabinets, or add venting. Any add-ons can push the timeline closer to the three-hour mark. Hiring a licensed installer ensures the wiring is safe and the appliance operates at peak performance.

Because an over-the-range microwave doubles as a range hood, it needs proper venting. You can opt for a recirculating model that filters and recirculates air back into the kitchen, or a ducted unit that exhausts outdoors. Are you unsure which route suits your cooking style? Ask your installer for guidance before making a purchase.

Only microwaves labeled “over-the-range” have the built-in venting and lighting that’s necessary for safe, code-compliant use above a stove. Countertop models don’t have those safeguards. Before you swipe your card, have a licensed microwave installer confirm you’re choosing the right unit for the space and ensure compliance with local codes.

It’s best not to install a countertop microwave in your cabinets. Countertop models aren’t designed for use in an enclosed cabinet, and blocking those vents can trap moisture or even create a fire hazard. A built-in or drawer microwave is designed for tight spaces. Run your plans by an installer to make sure you’re buying the right style for the spot.

You don’t need an electrician if the outlet already meets the microwave’s power needs and sits in the right spot. In that case, you’re good to go ahead with the installation. If the outlet is undersized, outdated, or too far away, hire a licensed electrician to install a new one and ensure everything is code-compliant.

With routine care, most microwaves last between five and 10 years. To help them reach their maximum lifespan, wipe up spills immediately, wash the grease filter periodically, avoid using metal dishware, and close the door gently. Those simple habits reduce malfunctions and keep the appliance running smoothly for the long haul.
