Also, the first appointment needed to be rescheduled which I didn't find out until I called The Grout Medic half an hour after they were due at my house. "This project went extremely well from start to finish. Mike came out as arranged (on time, COVID precautions taken) and surveyed the garage floor, measured, provided color selection options and explained the process thoroughly. Prior to his arrival he emailed several links to documents which I read before his arrival and thereby could ask intelligent questions. Stronghold's price was in the middle of the three estimates; however, considering this type of work is what they specialize in (as opposed to a few jobs in addition to other types of contracting specialties), coupled with the many outstanding (to include recent) reviews informed my selection. After contract signing and down payment, the two-day project was scheduled for about 4 weeks later. In the interim, Mike sent several emails with added information and reminders, especially to ensure the garage was completely empty. On the scheduled first day, the two-man crew arrived and after unloading their equipment began their work immediately which was the grinding process. When completed, they applied the Base Coat of Epoxy followed by the Decorative Chips. The next morning the crew returned to vacuum the excess chips and then apply the Top Coat of Polyaspartic Polyurea which also provides a degree of anti-slip feature. The "curing period" was a minimum of 24 hours to walk on and 48-72 hours to drive on. I wish I had taken some "before" photos because the results were outstanding. The crew was courteous, professional and cleaned up after their work on both days. Contract signing, payment, etc., was accomplished electronically. Considering the pitfalls of a DIY project (chemicals, lack of commercial grade grinders, specialized "flexible" coatings, etc.,) this is the way to go and well worth the cost. I now actually enjoy going into my garage and have proudly shown it to my neighbors."

"During the installation of a COMPLETE new roof late last year, the team severely damaged the recently installed gutter helmet (uninstalled, bent, unscrewed then nailed original gutters and helmet), thus voiding the lifetime warranty. The Roof is fine, but now we have 5 waterfalls around the house that are quickly damaging the perimeter. We are currently waiting for Mike's Home Improvement to correct the unfortunate situation. It is only fair to, at a minimum, repair the damaged gutters or replace with a comparable product, in a way that it can handle the high volumes of rain we are getting in the area. I will UPDATE this review as soon as the situation is resolved."

"My garage floor was coated in 2013 with a 10-year warranty, and areas have not adhered properly many times. The company sends workers to "fix" the affected areas, but the fixes do not hold up. The company re-coated the floor once, but I believe that the bare floor was not ground properly when the coating was first applied. Now my floor is unsightly with areas bare or that have been re-worked over and over and not looking like the original finish. A few weeks ago, workers came to re-work the areas, but I told them not to do so because I wanted a more permanent solution to the problems. I have had several email communications with a manager. All they seem to want to do is apply more coating to the affected areas. This pretty much makes the warranty useless."
