"Jerry is a great handyman. Personable and very knowledgeable about plumbing issues and drywall. Went straight to work at 8 with his helper and finished multiple tasks in a long day. Got it done. Will certainly hire again."

Warranties offered

"They showed up when they said they would and were polite and pleasant. I had a small full bath remodeled. They did a great job in stripping everything down, making repairs that were needed due to some previous water damage, and installing new vanity, light, and bath accessories. I had some other small handyman repairs that were taken care of as well without issue. All work was done within the time stated and done well. I would use them again. The only minor issue was the the wax seal for the toilet apparently moved after about a month, but they came back out and replaced it without issue."

"Tristan showed up promptly, described what he wanted to do, and was a great sounding board for future projects. We will be using Soss' Services and Tristan for many more projects to come. I would highly recommend at least giving them a call for a quote for any housing needs. "

FAQs for handyman service projects in Fredericksburg, VA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
