"We purchased a house this fall, which had a 20 year old cedar shake roof. We have a few other companies come out to look at it, and they all said that it needed to be replaced within the next year. Estimates ran between $18k-30k, and we have a medium size house. I found CPS on Angie's list, and they were able to repair the broken shingles (there were several replacements needed), refinish/stain and seal both of our roofs (house and garage) for about $3500. Additionally, they told us that is we continue to have then refinish and seal the roofs every 3 years, we may get another 10+ years out of our roof!! To top that off, our roof looks 100x better than it did with the previous owners. They were able to stain it a beautiful brown color, which complements our house.
