When I called them with a water flood from a failed sump pump, they came within 30 minutes, assessed the situation and had a team here working within an hour. They assured me they would take care of moving all of the furniture and items in my basement, and they did just that. They worked quickly and professionally to remove wet pad and dry out my entire basement. They came to check the carpet each day and then did a good job replacing new pad, stretching my carpet, steam cleaning and returning my furniture to where it was supposed to go. All staff were helpful and did a great job! I credit them for their hard work during this overwhelming situation, and would recommend them to anyone in a similar situation!!"

His team was on time, and took out the old tub and installed a walk-in tub . Other companies give us bids but we went with Gary's tub, not just for the lower price but the tub sold us. "I was frustrated that they didn't cover our garbage disposal and they didn't cover the thermostat, otherwise everything we did there was great. I didn't have any problems. It's $50 a month, and then everything is covered. You don't have to pay for people to come out. "I hired Tatro Plumbing to remove a very old toilet in the basement of a rental property of mine and to install a new toilet. When I called to receive the estimate, I was satisfied with the explanation that the company would charge me for the time that the plumber had to drive from Garden City to a small town in southwestern Kansas and back. At the agreed-upon appointment, the company truck arrived, and there were two gentlemen inside. The two of them proceeded to perform the work in an efficient, professional way. I was satisfied with the work and was especially glad that they removed the old toilet from my property. What surprised me was the fact that after one of them called the main office in order to write out the invoice that he then handed me a bill that included a round-trip drive-time charge for two plumbers. My understanding was that the charge would be for the job, not for two plumbers. I also did not know in advance that two plumbers would be sent. I called the main office and expressed my surprise and asked whether they could deduct a fair amount. The company agreed to deduct what I considered to be a fair amount, and I thought the final bill was fair. <br /> It is not easy to get reputable, professional, and skilled laborers in the small towns of southwestern Kansas, and it is typical to have to hire them from Garden City. I would use Tatro again, because I thought their plumbers were gentlemen and they did a fine job. I thought the communication issue about the charges was resolved satisfactorily. I only give Tatro a B because I thought the charge per plumber, and the fact that two would be sent out, should have been explained to me beforehand. <br /> I do recommend this company. It is professional and skillful. <br />"

"<p>He has done a custom-built closet, which turned out beautiful. He also has completely gutted and remodeled a downstairs bathroom. It turned out beautiful. We bought our hot tub from him when he was in the hot tub business. We have had the hot tub for 16 years. He does very good work and is pretty knowledgeable, but one has to have patience with him because he gets off in different directions sometimes. I put up with it because I like what he does. Some people might be a little bugged because sometimes he says he will be back tomorrow, but then doesn't show up until several days later.  The only issue I have with him is his timeliness. He is working on my deck right now. He is repairing where I have a 100-year-old tree that grew and put a hole in the deck and buckled it up. We are just getting started on that project. For us he has done carpentry, plumbing -- he installed all the toilets and did all the plumbing work. He is also a licensed electrician so he has done electrical work and you name it -- deck work. He is kind of a jack of all trades. Right now I know he is working on someone's basement, supporting steel beams and all that stuff. That is why he has not finished my deck work because he is busy with the basement. He also put in our garbage disposal for us. That guy has done so much I can't remember everything. I have been dealing with him, probably, 20 years plus. On the fence his cost was about $3,000 and the materials were the other $3,000. He will save people money because he has the customer buy the materials after he tells them what he needs. He takes no markup in the materials. He even went with me when I  bought the materials for the fence. He only charges you for his labor. I have several other project for him to do including putting on a garage roof. </p>"

Brian stopped by a couple times during the job to make sure that everything was going well, and did a final walk through to make sure I was satisfied. There were a couple very minor things -- and Brian took care of them. Great communication before, during, and after the job. Brian was also a real pro at working with the insurance company. Made it a very smooth process to work through the initial contact with insurance and was on-site for the adjuster's visit."
