"I had some settling issues with my foundation, and Jacob from FSS did a thorough evaluation of the problem. I had already had six different companies come by, so I was getting familiar with the routine. What impressed me about the FSS solution was that they could actually stabilize the foundation, putting it on piers that would not shift in the future, unlike the other companies. When the installation crew arrived (Thomas, Timothy and Kennen), they brought along some really impressive galvanized steel hardware. The installation crew was clean and very meticulous about the details, making sure everything was installed correctly. After the foundation was stabilized and leveled, another crew came to do a polyfoam injection under the foundation to fill the air gap left by leveling the foundation. This way the entire foundation is supported, and not resting just on the edges. Overall, I was very pleased with the work. They were certainly not the cheapest, but then, you often get what you pay for."

"Excellent. Guardian’s installation team was outstanding. It was the best window installation since I started replacing windows years ago. I wish I had known about Guardian when I first started replacement."

"Thanks to everyone at Gulf Coast Windows who were involved with our latest window order. This includes Andy, Nicole, Hailey, Brennan, Anthony, Jimmy, Carmello and anyone else who helped. In the past , we replaced a few windows at a time. It took us (6) six of (10) ten years to completely replace all the windows in our home. For (4) four years, we did other improvements to our home. Window replacement has made our home much more comfortable. Thank you Gulf Coast Windows."

"Overall, I was very pleased with the performance and quality of the work.  I feel Magnum helped create a proper solution to my home's roofing needs that will keep us dry for many years.  We had some initial scheduling difficulties, but those were quickly cleared up.  Worked with the company owner, Piper Chilson, and had a good experience.
Scheduled appt for a quote and Magnum did not show up.  Called them back and they went out of their way to make it right (as they should have), stopping by after their normal hours to inspect and make a temporary patch free of charge.  Quote returned the next day.  Very competitive and Magnum committed to handling some related issues (gutters, etc...) that weren't just the roofing job.  Our home has very little ridge-line, so  normal ridge vents do not adequately ventillate the attic.  This can void shingle warranties as they require the roof meet construction specs, including attic ventillation.  I prefer passive ventillation over a mechanical blower (no noise, electricity use or maintenance) and Piper offered a passive vent solution.  They were available to start within a week.  I chose Magnum because their price was competitive, their quote was comprehensive in handling all the issues needed to fix my roof, their solution was thoughful, their product and installation has a 50-yr warranty and they could get to work right away.
They arrived promptly and finished the roofing job in 2 days.  Very quick.  They found some rotted wood in our decking and made appropriate replacements, but that was the only additional charge (and the charges were made as described in the contract, so no problems there).  Foreman was very professional and helpful.  2 man crew returned later (as agreed)  to install radiant barrier in the attic.  Again, very professional and courteous.  They still need to finish the fascia board installations and I need to get the paperwork in line to file for my warranty (inspection results, etc...), but this work went about as smoothly as I can imagine.  They even took down and re-installed the basketball goal mounted on the front of our garage.
In summary, the price was good & competitive, we had initial communication issues, but once those were resolved they paid attention to details, clearly communicated all the issues they saw with my roof, put a lot of thought into solving my problems and then took care of everything.  They were comprehensive and totally professional.  I have no qualms about highly recommending Magnum Roofing.

Update: replacing fascia boards.  This seemed to be taking a long time, but I was busy with other issues and trusted they would get to it.  Piper called after a week to say it was done.  The problem was that interior trim materials had been used, so they needed to match the profile while using exterior grade materials.  That took a while, but they found proper materials and installed them.  Piper also gave me the information needed to order more matching materials to upgrade all of this trim material in the future.  They took care of all the issues as promptly as possible and the work quality seems great.

To summarize again: professional, thorough, skilled, fair-priced.  Very satisfied with the whole experience.  I would use them again and/or recommend them to friends.
