I obviously have damaged plywood. <br /> To further save money it was suggested that I obtain the permit. <br /> This all may be good for someone desperate to save money, but it is not what I had in mind. <br /> A little better communication on both our parts, may have produced a different result. <br />"

"Horst Handyman repaired a ramp that had wood rot along with wooden rails and reset the ramp so it was more solid in its foundation. He also repaired our back deck which had some wood that was in bad shape and repaired and replaced wood in our front steps. Horst Handyman used paint restore and he explained everything so we would understand all that was needed to complete the job. The material alone was 1200.00 so the material was not cheap as it is. We have to consider hours and time it takes to complete the task. Thank you. <br />"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. "Since the home is very old, and the existing paint was 20 plus dingy and peeled, my wife and I did not expect the final result to be as beautiful as it was and stills remains over a year later. Swords did superb on the trim and paint in a short time of less than a week for 2 men to complete. We were astonished how nice the home was when complete. Being home the entire time the paint and windows were done, we know there were no "cut corners" in completing the job. Much attention was spent to detail. Mr Swords and his partner were courteous, professional, worked extremely clean (made no mess so to speak) and did not upset my property or neighbors in any way. The job was done excellent. Mr Swords has also replaced our old windows with beautiful new (high efficiency) storm windows. They are perfect and have save us money with our heating and cooling costs. Done perfectly! In the past year since meeting Swords Construction, my wife Julie and I have had them do several other construction and projects (remodel and emergencies) for this house and our other investment home. Swords Construction seems to be the whole package for our paint, remodel, construction, repair and maintenance needs.
