"The quality of the work was top notch. The house with the new roof looks beautiful, especially with the new copper flashing and other copper features. This was a very big job and it went flawlessly. The work was started at the time scheduled and completed on time. The company was very responsive to my requests and seemed dedicated to doing a first-rate job. I was highly impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, and helpfulness of my company rep (Christian), project manager (Blase), and crew supervisor (Gabriel)."

"We considered 5 different contractors for an extensive project finishing our basement.  Wantz was one of the top two contractors we considered.  Pricing was fair and his vision matched our vision.  The biggest decision point for us was that we would have to wait 45-60 days to start and that would have impacted our plans to be finished by the 2013 Holiday season.  Otherwise, there was a good chance that we would have chosen Wantz.  Instead, we went with Brothers Services and have been very happy with the results. <br />"

"I am extremely pleased with the work done. Not only was it done quickly and at an affordable price but this provider went out of his way to help me make decisions and picked up materials to expedite the time frame. I have already hired this provider to install hardwood floors, paint, electrical, lighting, and install new exterior windows. I called other providers who didn't show up or were triple the cost. I'm so happy I found this provider. He has a great work ethic and is more reasonable than anyone I have called in the past. Thank you. <br />"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Friendsville, MD

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
