"Made an appointment to go over my laundry list of electrical work.  John was very, very good at explaining why not or yes that can be done.  He told me about all the options available.  What would be the best buy for the money.  He was so thorough and did not rush me.  Due to budget, I choose the two above projects.  For installation of dedicated line - the line ran from the back of the property to the front of the house where the electrical box was located.  Had to go under a sidewalk and up into the attic with a very low roof from the back of the house to the front.  Soil, rocks, bedding and part of a flagstone pathway also had to be removed.   All was put back together except for the flagstones at my request.  The plants did not even look like someone had been working in their midst.  For the kitchen - over and under lighting of the cabinets. The puck lights that were previously installed were a fire hazard plus the wiring used was not up to code.  A snakes nest of wiring had to be removed from the top of the cabinets.  Also a cabinet had to be removed in order to properly install the lights.  These lights are perfect and you can not see them.  They are small, hidden and dimmable.  John recommended these lights and I was given a choice of warm or very bright LEDs.  Everything was put back to order.  The electricians who did the work were professional and a pleasure to work with.  These jobs took approximately 8 hours to complete.  In the future, this company will be called on to complete my laundry list.  They were about an hour late and that is why I gave them a B rating on punctuality.

"Richard took down a ceiling fan from an 8 ft ceiling and capped it off - pretty easy.   Then he replaced two standard outlets - one in a bathroom and one in an enclosed patio area. The cost for these small jobs was $222.00 - which I thought to be a little high for the work performed, especially since I had an "Angie's Deal".
I really didn't need the 'inspections' he included by looking at the circuit box in the garage, etc.- but he did go the extra mile by screwing in some bulbs I couldn't reach at no charge and taking a look in the attic.
He was polite and very knowledgeable. I would advice getting a confirmed pricing to compare with others before making an appointment - just to be sure you are okay with the costs.

"After purchasing the Angie's List deal, it took several weeks of playing phone tag with the company representative to finally get a home visit to inspect the work I wanted to have done. Then, it took several more weeks before the work happened. I didn't have to be home while it took place, but when I came home afterwards I noticed the extra dollars they wanted to charge me for digging, was unnecessary because the wires were exposed in a lot of places and barely covered by my rocks in other places. Not the quality I hoped for nor expected. I thought 'underground' was exactly that but I guess not so in this case.
However, I'm glad they left me with additional bulbs for my landscape lights and the lights along with the timer device, have worked exceptionally well since the installation.  I received a bill for the additional digging work (that was never performed) and ignored it, then called to dispute it and received a 'disconnected' auto message. Not sure if they are still in business at another location, but would not recommend them.
